Hi, there!
I hope you all are doing well! We recently had lots of rain and blustery winds here for a couple days. But, today it is blue skies and sunshine. What a big difference a couple days make. Anyways, it's been a little over a week since I posted. I had a couple Christmas cards done from a crop that I went to a couple months ago. I thought maybe it would qualify for CAS Christmas challenge(plaid), but nope...oh, deer! I guess I don't make many CAS cards. Since I used a new die on my card, I'm entering this card over at NBUS Challenge.
Before I share my card with you today, I have news about my sweet dog, Sheila. She had to have another surgery on a mammary gland. It turned out to be Grade 1 cancer again. It has only been since June that she had her other surgery. We have to wrap her up like a little mummy because she shakes and shakes until she gets her dressing loose. Monday won't come soon enough before she gets the stitches out. But, we would do anything for our little gal, she's a trooper and brings us a lot of joy.
Ok, here is my Christmas card...
The deer die is from La La Land Crafts, which is a new company to me, but with wonderful stamps/dies! And, the scalloped panel was made using a Mama Elephant die. I have a few Christmas cards done and many more to go!
Thanks so much for dropping by today! Take care and have a great weekend! Hugs!
AW! your poor little pooch, I hope things will improve with her.
ReplyDeleteA Wonderful card, love the reindeer, super papers and design.
Faith x
Poor Sheila having to have surgery again. She doesn't understand why this is happening and why you have her wrapped up. Give her a belly rub from me when she gets unwrapped. I love the gold embossed deer and the plaid tree. I really like that red pattern paper too.
ReplyDeletePoor sweet Sheila! Well, she's all ready for Halloween in her mummy costume anyway. I love your red and black plaid together with the gorgeous gold deer!
ReplyDeleteOh that darn Kara took the words right out of my mouth about Sheila being a mummy for Halloween! You are good doggie parents and I hope she's all better after they get those stitches out yesterday. Your Christmas card is beautiful and I think your style is wonderful! Thank you for sharing with everyone at NBUS! Hugs, Darnell
ReplyDeleteOh what a poor little Sheila... I do hope she recovers soon, no doubt with your love and care she will. Lovely card Maria... I'm slowly coming into autumn so no Christmas cards yet
ReplyDeleteSending love and 'careful' hugs to Sheila x. What a striking plaid/deer Christmas card and a fabulous design x.
ReplyDeleteLove the pretty deer & your card, Maria! Sheila looks like a sweetie! Sure hope she does well!
