Valentine and Birthday!

Hi, Friends!

I've been working on birthday and Valentine cards, so I have a couple of cards to share with you today.  I thank you for all your well wishes regarding me and my family having Covid.  I continue with a cough, but I am feeling much better.

First up, is a Valentine's Day card for my son.  I thought this fun stamp set from Lawn Fawn was so cute!  The postal frame and hearts are from Reverse Confetti.  All stamps and dies are a new purchase.  I'm entering this card over at NBUS Challenge.

Next up, is a card for my brother-in-law.  He loves cars and trucks and I knew I wanted to use this new to me stamp/die set from Honey Bee.  What a cool truck it is to use for many occasions.  I tucked in a row of gifts in the back of the truck and personalized it with Don's name on the license plate.  I used a silver gel pen for the mirrors, etc. and I sponged some black ink in places for interest.

Ok, that's all for now.  I hope you're having a great day and staying warm!

We had some trouble with our furnace.  What a time for it to go on the blink when it's frigid outside.  But, we are able to reset it and we have two electric heaters to keep warm.  Since there is a chip shortage, it would take a very long time for repair, so we opted to get a new one.  It will be here next Thursday and it was about time to get a new one anyways.  I'm just thankful that it will be resolved soon.

Take care, hugs!!

  2. I love the Lawn Fawn cerealsly card. I have that stamp too because of the pun. Great truck image and so versatile. I am so glad you are so much better and hope the cough goes away soon. I replaced my furnace this fall and I can't believe how quiet it is compared to my old one.

These are fantastic. The first one is so adorable and fun. I have the HB truck set and die and it’s a great one.

  9. So glad you're feeling better & hope all goes well with the new furnace. Air conditioners go out in the summer & furnaces go out in the winter--a rule, I think--haha! Such a fun card for your son & the truck card is absolutely amazing! Take care, Greta
