Happy Bee-Day!

Hi, Friends!

It's hot hot hot!  I say thank goodness for air conditioning.  I'll be so thankful, too, for tomorrow is my last day to wear the compression stockings!  I'll be able to wear shorts and sandals!  I'm coming right along with my hip recovery.  I hope to enjoy some summer activities such as camping next month!

But, anyways, I'd like to share with you a card I made for a friend's birthday!  She likes bees, so a bee card it is.  The bee image is from Simon Says Stamp.  The background was made using a stencil from Tim Holtz.  Sequins added to finish the card.

Well, I'm going to buzz right along out of here for dinner is nearly ready.  I thank you very much for taking the time to drop by today!  Take care and have a wonderful rest of the week!

Hugs!

  1. I don't know how I missed your last post but I love the cards and the colors on the "18" card. This yellow card is lovely and cheerful, just the kind I like. I'm so glad you are recovering so well and able to get upstairs and make cards again. Getting those compression stockings off has to be a wonderful milestone in this heat. Sounds like you will be able to camp soon!

  5. Thank goodness for air conditioning, is right! At least we don't have your humidity and our really hot days aren't too often. I'd be glad to get out of those stockings, too! That's one thing I didn't have to do. Happy your rehab is progressing well and hope you have a lot of pain relief now compared to pre-op. Your summery bee card is so cheerful I know she loved it!

  6. Perfect bee-day card for a bee lover.
I’m waiting for a CT scan to confirm hip replacement myself… lucky you you’ve reached the other side.
