Photo inspiration with colors of Redish/orange, yucky yellow, and juniper!
Hi All!
How's it going? Hope your weekend is going well! What a challenge over at The Play Date Cafe this week! Those colors were quite the challenge for me! My paper and button are reddish/orange, but the photo looks like they are more of a pink color. Anyways, it was fun creating this card for a co-worker's birthday this month. It sure is a steamy hot day today! We are thinking of ordering a pizza and watching a movie. Thank goodness for air conditioning! Ok, thanks so much for visiting here today! Take care and have a great weekend, hugs!!!:-))

ReplyDeleteWhat a beauty! I can definitely see the orange in the button and that little calendar is precious :) And yes, thank heavens for air conditioning! LOL! We are suffering through nearly 120 degrees here in AZ.
ReplyDeleteWow....beautiful Maria! I love the shape and your stitching and the seam binding woven thru the frame is gorgeous! It's hot here too - so steamy that when I went outside my camera steamed up making it impossible to photograph anything - ditto with the AC! Have a great weekend! :)
ReplyDeleteMaria, this is pure perfection! I love the shape of the card and the stitchng! Simply deliscious!!

there is so much happening on this card but it doesn't look busy. Love the way you have threaded the ribbon through the frame. Have a great evening x
ReplyDeleteGorgeous card Maria! So Vintage looking!
ReplyDeleteYour card is gorgeous!! Love all those pretty layers and ribbons. I also find it frustrating when the camera refuses to catch the 'real' colours of the card.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful vintage style! Love those gorgeous accents, the lace, flowers and ribbon...they add such loveliness to your card! Great job with our colors! Thanks for playing along with us at the Play Date Cafe!
ReplyDeleteYour card is amazing! I love your romatic take on these colors and the centerpiece with eyelts on the square is beautiful. Love how you put the ribbon through it ( can;t find the proper word; sorry..) Brilliant card!

ReplyDeleteI've been praying for you and your mom. How are things going? I see you made a little time for yourself in the craft room, and it was a good day. :) THis card is utterly gorgeous. My fave treatment: the way you wove a ribbon through the die cut frame. Beautiful! Thanks for playing with us at THe Cafe. :)
Wow! Maria, I think you did great with the colors and how you used them too! I really like your ribbon treatment, your pearls, and the use of your die cuts!
