PDCC #89- Thanks So Much

A closer view of my card.

Hi there!

I relaxed in my craft room last night after a busy work week.  Crafting gives so much enjoyment by getting your mind off of things and just letting the creative energy flow into a card.  Don't you think?!:-)  Anyways, I had fun making this card for the challenge over at The Play Date Cafe.  I didn't have any light green mint paper, so I went more bright.  The closest I had for mint was this paper from Basic Grey.  I wasn't going to post this card, but I am happy with it even though it has brighter colors than the challenge colors.  I couldn't resist using the Martha Stewart flower and border punch. So Saffron ink was added to the border and ribbon.  To fninsh off my card I added a mint button, pearls, and some sewing.  Well, I better scoot and get some work done around here.  Have a lovely weekend and take care, hugs!:-))

  1. How utterly perfect! I love what you did with the Martha Stewart punches too! I say it's great. The colors are deeper, but still just beautiful!

  5. Oh, Maria, your card is so pretty! It just makes me happy! Brighter than the inspiration colors, but so eye-catching and lovely. I love the flower and love how you did the sentiment. And all those pearls? Fabulous. And I have to say that I'm completely inspired by your use of yellow, too. That used to be one of my hardest colors to work with. I love to look at it, but found it hard to deal with. Thanks for the great inspiration.
