I hope your weekend is going well! It's a little cloudy outside. I think
they are calling for about 30% chance of rain. Rain is needed so badly.
The corn crop is struggling with the lack of rain. Maybe I should go
out and do a little rain dance. But, if I did that, I think they neighbors
would report me to the mental health guys in white uniforms...lol!
Anyways, my card posted today is for the challenge over at
Tuesday Morning Sketches. I filled the jar with sparkly strawberries.
I stamped the strawberries onto paper and applied chipboard for more
stability. Stickles were added to the strawberries especially along the
right side. I free handed the tops of the strawberries and outlined
them in white gel pen. The little flowers were fussy cut with tiny
red buttons sewed to the centers with twine. Gems, border punch, and
sewing to finish off the card. Whatever you do this weekend...have fun!

I f i could I'd sent some of our rain your way. We had no rain today but our summer is wet, wet, wet. Yikes!

ReplyDeleteThe corn crops were lost here but we finally got rain last week. It's amazing how green everything has turned now. The water sprinkler just can't do what nature does.
