Hi Friends!
How's your summer going? Hopefully all is going well and that you are enjoying all the fun things that go along with summer!
We just returned from vacation, so I do apologize for not getting around to your blogs. There's always catch up when returning from a trip. But, we had a fabulous time!
Today, though, I want to share with you a card I made for the monthly challenge for Paper Sweeties! All you have to do is follow the above sketch. The winner of the challenge will receive a $20 gift certificate and an invite to be the guest designer for the following month! So, please join in on the fun! Here is my card for the challenge...
For my card, I started with a cream base and topped it with lovely papers from Simple Stories(Vintage Bliss). The sentiment is from Paper Sweeties using the stamp set, You're Invited. The doilies are Martha Stewart. I punched out little hearts and added sequins and gems. The buttons are from SU. Pearl cotton was added to the buttons. Some yummy ribbon from Paper Sweeties using Oatmeal Cream and Rose Petal. A Martha Stewart border punch was used for the last extra touch along the bottom of the card. And, there you have it for my happy birthday card, which I will be giving to a co-worker. I love working with her for she is always so helpful and sweet! Do you have one of those co-workers where you get along so well and appreciate their friendship? Well, Barb is to me one of the best, a real sweetheart!
So, to view some wonderful inspiration, please stop by at Paper Sweeties to see some great design team projects! You won't be disappointed! Thanks so much for taking the time to take a look at my project today! Take care, hugs!
