Happy Birthday!
A new challenge is up and running over at Colour Me...! I thought I'd give it a try. Here is my card...
It was a quiet day here in my house watching some football and making cards. I'm glad I got out yesterday before the snow started again and enjoyed lunch with a friend. Also, we saw the movie, "Saving Mr. Banks". A very good movie, which I highly recommend! The snow is falling outside making a lovely wintery scene. It is very pretty, but not fun to drive in. We just had a snow storm a couple days ago, and we are due for 6-10 more inches of snow...whew! And, frigid temps below zero...brrrr! Anyways, I was thinking spring for this birthday card. I want to look out my window and see flowers rather than snow! Ok, enough of weather and onto my card.
I started my card with a white card base and added glittery paper and the lovely island indigo(SU) paper. I paper pieced the vase with the same glittery paper. The window die set is from Taylored Expressions. The sentiment is from PTI. It went together fairly easy. I'm sure I could use this same card but use a different sentiment for many occasions. Ok, that's all for now. Hope you are having a great weekend! Thanks so much for dropping by, hugs!
Supplies:
Paper: SU, PTI, DCWV
Stamps: SU-vase
PTI-sentiment
