Hello!

Hi, there!

Just popping in quick to share with you a card made for a friend!  I'm entering this card over at City Crafter.  The theme this week is banners.  I decided to try the sponge technique, which Lori demonstrated with a video.  She made such a lovely card.  I was so inspired, so I gave it a try.  And, here is my card...

I started with a white card base and used make up sponges to apply the ink.  I did two dabs with the sponge on the ink.  I think it turned out great.  But, I can't say the same for my thumb and finger...ha!  You might want to use gloves if you don't want inky fingers!:-)  Butterflies were punched as were the scalloped circles.  It was a fairly easy card to make.  I plan on doing another card in different colors for I had lots of fun with it!

Thanks so much for viewing my card today!  Take care!

Hugs,
Maria
