Boo to you!
Hi, Friends!
I just want to share with you a card I made for the Choux Choux Paper Art(Lori Hairston) Halloween Challenge! I got out the PTI Halloween stamp set that Kay Miller designed. It is just the sweetest! Love the smiley faces on the cat, bat, and pumpkin! I decided to use my new sequin mix from Verve and make a fun shaker card. I water colored the background. The paper and dots are from Doodlebug. And, here is my card...
And, a view of the inside...
The spiders are from an old Hero Arts stamp set! Well, that's all for now, friends! Take care and have a wonderful weekend!
Hugs,
Maria
Arizona Vacation...
Hi, there!
As promised, I'm back with some vacation pics! And, I miss the warm AZ weather already! We came back to temps in the 60's and rainy. But, I'm sure we will visit AZ again...maybe in January or February when we have frigid temps with blowing snow!:-) Anyways, we made it to my sis-in-law's. Kim and her husband, Jerry, moved to AZ three years ago to be close to her daughter, Adrienne. And, her sister, Nicole, moved three years ago, also. Sit back and grab your favorite beverage for there are lots of photos! Here are a few family pics...

Jax is always on the go and just
too darn cute! He asked his Mom if
he's the boss. Adrienne said, "No, I'm
the boss!" Jax replied, "Well, I'm the
little boss!" Hehehe...so precious
and cute!:-)
My niece, Adrienne with her little one,
Ash(5 mo.)
The next day we went to Sedona and took in the sites...so beautiful!
Chapel of the Holy Cross
While I was looking in one of the shops, my
husband was taking pics and took one of
this interesting fella...
I'm guessing it's some type of moth. If anyone
knows what it is, please let me know.
After Sedona, we went up to Williams for a
couple days. We watched a show with cowboys.
We took a train ride to the Grand Canyon.
And, on the way back...robbers! The bad
cowboy gang tried to rob us! But, my husband
saved us. He said, "The rich people are
in the back!"
The sheriff followed the gang and made
sure everyone was ok! Whew...so happy
to be safe!:-)
Well, I hope you enjoyed my photos!
Take care and have a great day!

Fall Coffee Lovers Blog Hop!
Hi, Friends!
Oh, my! It's been nearly two weeks since I've been here! But, I've been busy with things and we went to Phoenix to visit with family and took in some beautiful sites! I will post some photos soon. In the meantime, I made this quick card before I left. I emobossed the coffee beans under the coffee cup and water colored the images and background. The coffee beans and cup is from the set Coffee, yes please. The sentiment is from But first, coffee.
The Fall Coffee Lovers' Blog Hop ends September 30th. I've seen lots of awesome coffee themed cards! Your project must have a beverage theme(coffee, tea, hot cocoa). And, we have several sets that fit that description including our wonderful Planner Series sets!
Paper Sweeties will be donating a $25 prize to one lucky winner!
Hope to see your awesome coffee themed cards over at the hop! Have fun creating! Take care!

Maria
