Hi, there!
Hope all is going well your way! We all can't help but think of those who have been affected by the recent hurricanes. My thoughts and prayers for all. Also, I'm praying for those who have had to deal with the fires in the western states. My niece's husband is a firefighter out in the field with one of the fires. I pray for the first responders with all the disasters, too.
On a lighter note. I made the card below for my friend, Mary, who is turning sixty-five next week. Her husband and daughter will be having a surprise party for her. I'm looking forward to the birthday fun!
I'm entering my card over at Simon Says. I'm getting it in just under the wire. I wanted to make a card with fall colors and the number sixty-five. And, here is the card...
The flowers are from Altenew, which were colored with copics. The stitched die cut circles and numbers are from MFT. The sentiment is from PTI. The gold sequins are from Paper Sweeties. Gold Nuvo crystal drops to finish the card. I hope she likes it!
Well, that's all for now. Take care and have a wonderful week!
Hugs,
Maria
This card is so beautiful, Maria! Your friend is going to love it!
ReplyDeleteYour friend will treasure this gorgeous card for her special day! Beautifully designed & colored--so special! Prayers that your niece's husband stays safe. Can't even imagine fighting wildfires. Last night they said the big one south of us is still increasing & only 5% contained with the goal being the middle of October to have it under control. So thrilled to see rain in our forecast early next week! Big hugs, Greta
