Prayers...

Hi, there!

Just popping in quick to share with you a couple cards that I made today.  Very CAS cards for me, but I wanted to send one of these for a friend's husband who had surgery.  The sentiment is from Hero Arts and the leaves are from MFT.  I used distress inks for the background.  Gold Nuvo crystal drops for the final touch.

On my next card, I did the inlay technique with the sentiment.  I'm thinking that I like this card better than the one above.  What do you think?  It was my first attempt at the inlay technique and I really like the dimension.  I didn't get it centered exactly.  Note to self...measure next time...lol.  But, anyways...it was a fun try.  And, here is my second card...

Well, that's all for now.  I hope you have a great day!  Take care!

Hugs,
Maria

  1. Beautiful cards, Maria! I love the inlay technique, so the second one is my favorite! Great idea to use the leaves at each end of the word!

  7. Both are great but I like the second one best. Never would have noticed it wasn't centered if you didn't point it out!
