Paper Sweeties January 2018 Blast from the past favorites!

Hi, there!

Welcome to Paper Sweeties Blast from the past favorites!  We don't have a new release this month, but we are highlighting winter favorites!  And, it's snow time!  I don't know about where you are, but we have had freezing temps here...I mean...really freezing!  Just to walk out to get the mail is blistery cold...brrr!  We got a freezing rain on Friday night and a few inches of snow.  We told our son not to come up on Friday, but he traveled up despite the slippery road conditions.  He is helping us remodel our bathroom.  We've had the new cabinet, sink, and toilet in the garage before Christmas.  But, with the holidays being so busy, we waited until now to start the process.  Anyways, we were very thankful when he made it here safely! 

For my project today, I have a darling fun snowman waving hello and wishing you all a wonderful day!  And, here is my shaker card today highlighting the sets (Snow Time and Merry Little Christmas)...





For my card, I started with a white card base.  I used distress oxide broken china ink for the background.  The snowflakes are from the set Merry Little Christmas.  The globe, snowman, and sentiment is from the set Snow Time and die cut with Sweet Cuts-Snow Time.  The frame was die cut using Sweet Cuts-Circle Scallop Frames.  The sequins for the shaker are marshmallow, robin egg, and strawberry.  Red twine to finish my shaker card.

    Maria, what a sweetheart your son is for helping you with the remodel! I'm grateful he arrived safely. The weather has been doozy! Your card is darling! The snowman is so jolly and how beautiful is the border of love around him. Sweet project as always, my friend. Happy Sunday. :)

    What a darling winter card, Maria--love the aqua/red combo! So glad your son made it safely. I've been thinking of you when I see the weather in the midwest. We're lucky here--not that cold or stormy, but we do have rain on the way now.

    Very pretty card, Maria! I hope you warm up soon. We did and now back to freezing. We're in same boat - remodeling. Have had new doors/frames and crown moulding since Oct. Finally we are putting them up this weekend. Stay warm! Hugs!
