Hugs!

Hi, Friends!

I had fun playing with alcohol inks today!  It's been quite awhile since I've used them.  It was so fun and I have the inky fingers to prove it...lol!  Next time I'll have to remember to use gloves.  I'm entering the card below over at MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge.

For my card, I started with a white card base and paired it with purple.  The next panel was inked up using alcohol inks of flamingo, patina, amethyst, and silver mixative.  I cut out the center using an MFT circle die, which took a lot of the pink and aqua away.  But, in real life you can see subtle hints of the color along with the pretty silver.  I used a brush to apply distress oxide ink of candied apple behind the bear and on the bear's cheeks.  All dies and the sweet panda bear stamp are from MFT.   I'm sending this card to my friend, Linda, who had outpatient surgery last week and is awaiting the results.  I hope and pray all goes well for her!

Ok, that's all for now.  Take care and have a wonderful week!  Thanks so much for dropping by today!

Hugs,
Maria

  2. Darling card, Maria! I know she'll feel better when she opens it! Hope the results are good--always nerve-wracking while you wait. I never use my AIs, but really should give them a try again.
