Happy Birthday!
Hi, Friends!
Just popping in quick to share with you a card I made for a friend's birthday! I used a new stamp with a pretty flower image from MFT. And, the sentiment is from Mama Elephant. I used my zig markers to water color the flowers. I'm entering this card over at Simon Says.
Sequins from Paper Sweeties, yarn, and splatters of DI to finish the card.
Well, not much going on around here. My hubby starts working long hours this Wednesday into next month. I'm happy that we were able to get away a couple weeks ago to share some fun time together before the March Madness begins, lol! Maybe I should look on the bright side and think it gives me more alone craft time!:-) Have you made any Easter cards yet? I started my Easter cards and have one done. There are many more to go. I will, though, work on more when I go to a craft retreat with my friend, Nancy, on March 7th. It's always a good time with many friends and delicious food. I wish I could say I'm going to work on cards now, but I need to finish cleaning the house. Ok, friends, whatever you have planned for today, I hope it's great! Take care and thanks so much for dropping by!
Hugs!

ReplyDeleteWhat a pretty card, Maria! Don't you hate it when housework gets in the way of crafting?!! lol
ReplyDeleteMaria this is such a pretty card, I love the colours!!
ReplyDeleteIf only we lived close enough--I'd come craft with you while your hubby worked his long hours! This is a stunner, Maria! Your Zig coloring is outstanding!
ReplyDeleteYour coloring is sensational on this, Maria! Love the yellow highlights and the schplatters! Wish I lived closer to go on the retreat with you! They are always so much fun and great for charging the batteries. Enjoy the alone crafty time, plus March spring cleaning! I always liked doing that when hubby wasn't underfoot because, you know, you have to make a mess first if you're doing a thorough clean! Hugs, Darnell
