Happy Birthday!

Hi, there!  I hope you are doing well on this fine fall day!  It's perfect weather here in NW Ohio!

Have you done any fall decorating yet?  Fall is one of my favorite seasons of the year.  I have lots of fall decorations up in the attic above our garage.  Silly hubby hurt his back the first week of retirement.  He is doing better and finally has a doctor appt. next week.  He wanted to cancel, but I insisted that he needs to get it checked.  He did have herniated disc surgery in 2002 many years ago.  So, just for peace of mind, I thought it would be a good thing to see what the doctor had to say.

Anyways, my fall decorating has taken a back seat because I didn't want hubby to climb the stairs to the attic and hurt his back again, but I did find a few things to decorate with and I bought a few things, too.  Also, I brought out a pumpkin cinnamon candle that I light at times.  It smells so good!  Yes, fall is here!

We ran some errands and now it's time to finish up some more birthday cards for October.  The above cards were made for my SIL and niece.  Two slightly different designs and color on the images.  The images were colored with copics.  The image is from Pretty Pink Posh.  The scalloped circle is from Paper Sweeties and the sentiment is from SU.  A gold thread bow to finish the card.  Ok, off to finish more October birthday cards!  Thanks so much for dropping by today!  Take care and have a wonderful day!

Hugs!

  1. I love the sweet bouquets and those tiny little vases. I hope your hubby is feeling better but it's always a good thing just to make sure. Good for you to insist he get it checked out. I can just imagine how wonderful that candle smells. A terrific way to bring the fall fragrance in the house.

  7. Your bouquet twofer is sensational, Maria! I love how beautiful and bright the colors are against that crisp clean white! I'm so sorry to hear about hubby's back - and right after his retirement, too, which seems so much worse. I hope he can get a scan just so everyone has some peace of mind about what is going on. Hopefully it was just a bad tweak and he'll be fine! Ginfers crossed! Hugs, Darnell
