Lucky to have You!

Hi, Friends!

I hope all is well your way!  We are in a winter wonderland here in NW Ohio.  We got a foot of snow on Monday and yesterday we had a few more inches.  It just keeps snowing.  But, I am grateful that we didn't get any ice and that we are safe and warm in our home.  My thoughts and prayers are with those in the south, especially Texas.

St. Patrick's Day is right around the corner, so I decided to make a card for my husband using an image that Ros drew.  She made it available to download.  You can see her post here...Mikey's Mom.  Her drawings and paintings on cards are stunning!  If you haven't checked out her blog yet, please stop over and take a view.  You won't be disappointed!

For my card I started, with a white card base and used a stencil from MFT.  The stitched circle, grass, clouds, and label dies are from MFT, also.  The DO inks that were used are Twisted Citron and Cracked Pistachio.  The sentiment is from Cas-ual Fridays.  Gold gems and a shamrock to finish the card.

Well, that's all for now.  Have a wonderful weekend!  Take care and stay warm!

Hugs!

  2. Glad you're safe & warm in your winter wonderland! The snow is so pretty, but not fun if you have to go somewhere. We're back to plain old rain. So grateful we didn't have days without power like a lot of people not far from us. Ros does wonderful paintings & I love how you used this drawing for your darling card, Maria! Love the 2 greens together! Stay safe & warm!

  5. That blend of DO are beautiful together and perfect for St. Patrick's Day. The image is so cute too. You sure got a lot of snow but no loss of power so that's good.
