Just popping in quick to share with you a card I made for a friend of mine. I was going to make a simple card, but the creativity in my mind just kept wanting to play. I'm happy with the results. Anything with pink and gold makes me happy! I hope my friend will like this card. I'm entering this card over at Word Art Wednesday.
And, I hope you all had a Happy Easter! We had lovely weather with the sun shining. A wonderful dinner at our favorite restaurant and then a relaxing afternoon. My son and husband finished the Monopoly game that was started the day before. Lots of haggling back and forth until our son finally gave up to my husband as the winner.
For my card, I started with a white card base and paired it with a gold panel. The next panel of pretty paper is from BoBunny. The typewriter image is from Sugar Pea. The scalloped circle is from Paper Sweeties. The butterfly was made using a punch. The hello sentiment are stickers. Gold shine spray added for interest. Gold dots and pearl cotton string to finish the card.
Thanks so much for dropping by today! I hope you all have a wonderful week! Take care!
Hugs,
The pink and gold go great together and I just love that old-fashioned typewriter from days gone by! So happy for your pleasant Easter, and the monopoly game sounds challenging between your hubby and son!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE your pink and gold Maria, this is such a beautiful card and makes a wonderful Hello card.

I, too, love the pink and gold. I also love that scalloped circle and pink typewriter. This is like the one in my typing class back in high school, only not as colorful as yours. We love to play games when my family gets together too. I'm glad you were able to spend Easter with your son and pup.
ReplyDeleteThe gold and the pink looks so pretty and what a fabulous card and design. Yes Monopoly in our house is fun and competitive too! x.
ReplyDeleteSo cute! Fab colour combo.
ReplyDeleteYou just reminded me I have a NBUS typewriter die! 🙈
Sounds like you had a fun time... Good for you! And a lovely card as well... so pretty Maria! Have a super day
ReplyDeleteSuch a lovely card, Maria and isn't it great when creativity strikes! I love all the extra details on your card like the gold spray and the beautiful bow along with the pretty colour scheme. I'm glad you had a good Easter.
ReplyDeleteHope you are well.
