Christmas...

Hi, there!

Just popping in quick to share with you what I have been working on lately.  I've been doing a lot of coloring in the evening while watching TV.  The poinsettia images are from Sweet 'n Sassy and the nutcracker images are from Newton's Nook.  I about went cross eyed coloring those nutcrackers.  But, love the images and the fun sentiments!

Not much new going on around here.  We are getting a lot of rain.  I hope it's not too much for the farmers for we have had a wonderful growing season this year.  They haven't gotten to the soybean fields in front and behind us yet.  I have seen a lot of corn taken down already.  And, the leaves haven't turned yet.  We are near Lake Erie and it will even be later, which will be possibly next week.  We are planning a trip to Berlin, Ohio to visit the Amish area on Wednesday.  I'm looking forward to some shopping and delicious food!

Nicky, our cat and Sheila, our dog seem to be getting along.  It is a lot of fun watching them play together!

What are you working on?  I need to work on some Thanksgiving cards yet and more birthday cards.  Thanks so much for dropping by today.  It's appreciated, take care!

Hugs,
Maria

  1. Those nutcrackers are colored beautifully - even if it was difficult for you! Have a fun trip when you go - it sounds refreshing and perfect for this time of year!

  2. Super colouring, Maria. I love those cut nutcrackers. We bought a wooden one in Germany many years ago. They have several Christmas shops in Germany where they sell Christmas decorations all year round. When you go in, it's like walking into a Winter Wonderland. xx

Thanks for helping me remember our visit to the Amish area in Ohio, many many years ago, it was quite different for us to know of. Loved it.

  5. I see why you might be cross eyed! So much detail and small places to color but they look wonderful. I can almost hear the drummer. We've had more than our share of rain too and I'm tired of it. This morning we had frost and more rain coming the next four days. There is nothing better than Amish cooking - eat a treat for me and you won't have calories from it.
