Happy Anniversary!

Hi, Friends!

My heart is heavy for all the people in Ukraine as they are experiencing war with Russia.  I pray that things improve soon.  I don't understand the unnecessary evil in the world.  I just have to place it in God's hands.

Well, it's been a while since I have posted.  I have been working on Easter, birthday, and an anniversary card.  Below is an anniversary card for a couple at my church who recently celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary.

The delicate heart die is from Spellbinder's.  The number dies are from TE.  And, the sentiment die from Sweet 'n Sassy was embossed in gold.  A bow made from pearl cotton to finish the card.

Well, I was thinking winter was over, but it continues.  We got more snow today, but it won't be much at all.  It looks like we got a thin glaze of ice, too.  I have two in my family who have flown out to warmer states.  My sis has been in Florida since the end of January and our son just flew out to AZ on Tuesday.  I keeping thinking, so why am I here in this snow and ice, lol?!

Ok, friends, do take good care!  Thank you so much for taking the time to drop by today!

Hugs!!

  1. Beautiful anniversary card, Maria! 60 years deserves a special card like you made! Spring is trying to come early here with lots of bulbs blooming. It looks warm out, but the air is pretty cold & below freezing at night. We're supposed to warm up & get rain soon. Stay safe & warm!

  3. That's such a lovely anniversary card for a lucky recipient. I often just shake my head and wonder why the lies and evil have taken over this planet too, and I'm sure we're not alone in our thoughts. Enjoy the sunshine today and wear a smile - it helps defeat all the sadness somehow.

  4. This is so pretty. 60 years - WOW! Congrats to them.

My heart breaks for the people of Ukraine, too… the senseless attack makes me so angry.
Other than a light dusting 2 days ago that quickly melted away, no snow here, but father Winter is still knocking at our door here. Stay warm.

  5. A Beautiful card that will be much appreciated I'm sure. I hope we make ours in 4years hahaha. We have had a beautiful Spring like day today, it was 13C / 55f today, although it is supposed to cool towards the end of the week to 9C / 48f. Not too bad, BUT with Rain!
Yes prayers are needed for those suffering in Ukraine to be sure.
    Faith x
