Hi, Friends!
For the challenge this month the theme is Anything Goes! It is the 200th Challenge!!!
We ask that you use at least one die on your project for the challenge that Dies R Us sells! Please come and join the fun and have a chance to win a gift certificate at the Dies R Us Challenge!
Also, this will be the final Dies R Us Challenge. It is with great sadness to say that it is my last post for this design team. All of us on on the design team will miss it! It has been a very supportive and fun design team to be on. I have been on a design team for nearly ten years with Paper Sweeties and Dies R Us Challenge. It has been a big part of my life. But, as you know there are always cards to make and I will be continuing to design them for my family and friends! A big thank you to Anne, our team leader, Darlene, our previous leader, and to all my team members for their support!! And, a big thank you to you, my blog friends!!
I'd like to share with you a couple sunflower photos that we took when we visited a sunflower farm last month.
The farm had 70 acres of sunflowers. They harvested them and sent them to Georgia
to make sunflower oil. We're already looking forward to visiting the farm again next year!
The links for the dies are listed below...
Dies R Us has a sister store with warehouses in the USA and Canada called Didi Crafts.
It will ship to both the US and Canada. Didi Crafts will carry some of the same products as DRU, but most will be different. Now our Canadian friends don't have to worry about huge taxes or shipping fees. How great is that!?!
My teammates have some fabulous inspiration for you today. Sit back, relax, and take a look.... (you can click on their name to go to their personal blogs and get more detailed information about each project)
What a sweet, fall scene you've created. This is adorable, Maria! What wonderful pictures of you and your hubby too. I can't even imagine seeing a field of sunflowers like that! It's certainly been a fun time designing with you all these years. You've never ceased to inspire me with your beautiful creations. I wish you the very best! I'm sure I'll be seeing you around blog-land.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely adorably CUTE CUTE card Maria and perfect for fall! The inking and coloring are beautiful!! Fabulous sunflower pictures too, we have some sunflower farms around here too in Michigan/Indiana or Michiana as it is called here, it's always a sad day when they cute them as i LOVE seeing their pretty smiling and happy heads! It's been fun working with you both here and when I was at Paper Sweeties, take care my friend!!
ReplyDeleteYour fall card is so bright and cheerful! I love it. Thank you for all you've done for this team. I will miss everyone (but I'll see you around blogland)!
ReplyDeleteA wonderful fall card and the coloring is beautiful. Wow, visiting the sunflowers is awesome. I can see why you want to go back next year, it is gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet and fun Fall card. Love all the die cuts you used to put this scene together and your colouring is beautiful as always. Wow, your pictures are amazing. I remember driving through a field of sunflowers when we visited Portugal a while back. The main road split the farm in two and I remember being surprised at how tall they grow. Thank you for your support, inspiration and enabling through the last few years :-) I will come for a visit on your blog and keep in touch. Big hugs ~ Lena
ReplyDeleteI'm so sad to learn that this challenge is ending but changes always come in this life and we move on to different things. Love your card with all those cute Lawn Fawn characters as a great welcome to autumn. I love the sunflower photos - we have a huge sunflower field here in PA where many folks share great photos like yours with the flowers! Mother nature is awesome :) Best wishes wherever blogland takes you from here.
ReplyDeleteEven though I rarely play, it’s still sad to see challenges close down. This is a darling scarecrow card.
ReplyDeleteFabulous pics at the sunflower farm.
10 years is a long time, but you always came up with wonderful projects, Maria! This is beautiful--love your coloring! What fun pictures with the sunflowers!
