Winter...

Brrr...winter!  I was dreaming of a white Christmas and I do believe we will be getting one!  Although it may come with blizzard conditions.  I don't think we are due for a lot of snow in our area, but with the drifting of snow, things can get dangerous.  We are expecting my son's friend, Ethan, to come here for Christmas since he can't get the time off of work to visit his family in New Jersey.  I can only pray that he makes it here before it gets too bad on the roads.

Anyways, I have a couple cards to share with you.  The above card was made with a die that was gifting to me by my friend, Nancy.  We had a wonderful lunch yesterday and exchanged Christmas gifts.

Next up, a Christmas card made for the kennel staff that takes care of our dog and cat when we are away.  It's hard to believe that they stayed still for a good photo!

Nicky and Sheila are laying together in the new bed that we got for Sheila.  Nicky has a perfect bed that he can use, but maybe he likes Sheila's better, lol!

Ok, well, I'm not sure what the weather is your way, but it appears that a lot of the country is snowy and cold...brrr!  Be careful out there and take care!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Hugs!

Merry Christmas!

Hi, there!

Only nine more days until Christmas?  Oh, say it ain't so, lol!  Well, I think I have most things ready for the big day.  I have some more baking to do and a few more gifts to buy.  I've already had two major Christmas celebrations that I've had to prepare for.  So, I can breathe a sigh of relief.  Also, my back had been giving me problems.  I had an MRI on Tuesday.  I saw the doctor on Thursday and he gave me good news of not needing surgery.  He thought it was a possible herniated disc.  But, it's just the usual old age problems of arthritis and stenosis.  Isn't it something getting old?!  Oh, well, what can ya do, but just keep on keeping on.

Ok, anyways on a happier note, I recently purchased a lovely bell and bow die from The Greetery.  I'm entering this card over at NBUS.

Next up...

Just a simple card with lovely paper from Echo Park.  A twine bow adhered to finish the card.

And, for my last card I used Pretty Pink Posh angels.  Aren't they cute?!

Just one more photo I'd like to share...

From left to right...Christina, Lucretia, Donna, Cecilia, and me.

We had lots of fun celebrating Lucretia's birthday!  And, we played Christmas bingo!

Ok, that's all for now.  I'm not sure if I'll post again before Christmas.  If not, I want to wish you all a wonderful blessed Christmas!  Take care!

Hugs!

Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas!

I'm back again as promised with a few Christmas cards.  How's it going with all your Christmas preparations this year?  I think I'm getting things under control here.  I'm not sure if it will be so in a couple days.  Our son was asked to play at church for the Christmas concert this weekend, so he wants to come up on Friday with his German Shepherd, Maverick.  It's not a problem usually, but I do have my sisters over on Friday and my husband and son are leaving to go to Cleveland area for a funeral visitation.  It means that I'm left here to try to control all the animals, lol!  I might have mentioned before that my dog, Sheila, and Maverick do not get along.  Oh, well, Maverick might have to go to his crate if things get out of hand.  Please pray for me, lol!

So, I'm here to show you my Christmas cards.  I've already sent out quite a few, but I do have a few favorites to show you today.  The above card was made using MFT dove and peace sentiment dies.  The trees and bird are from Lawn Fawn.  I also made this card using the color purple.

Next up...

I made a simple card using lovely Craft Consortium background paper and flower.  A gold gem to finish the card.

And, I saved the best for last with some stitching on this card...

I made several of these a couple months ago.  It was so fun and relaxing to watch TV in the evening and stitch on this lovely joy die from Spellbinder's.  I also made this card using a red background.

Ok, these next two days I need to clean house and prep for Friday's party.  So, I'll scoot for now.  I hope you all are doing well.  Take care and have a wonderful blessed Christmas season!

Hugs!

 Hi, Friends!

Sorry it's been quite awhile posting anything on my blog.  Time has flown by and I've been busy with different things.  I have seen  a lot of handmade purses on IG and thought I'd give it a try.  It was quite a project.  I ordered yarn from Amazon, but didn't get all of it and had to start over.  I used a macrame cord as seen above on the gray purse.  Needless to say, my poor hand and arm had to take a rest at times, but I continued on and finished it.

I've been busy with other projects, too, and yesterday evening made four wall hangings for my sisters.  I will host a birthday/Christmas lunch next Friday.  I hope they like my projects.  They were super easy to make.

First up...

There is a rope cord behind for hanging.  I got it from the Dollar Tree.  The letters came with it.  The dies are from Concord&9.  I used glitter paper and fine glitter.  A seam binding bow was made to finish the project.  I have in mind which sister to give each one to.  I asked my husband if he could guess which one I had in mind for each sis and he guessed right, lol!

Next up...

Another easy make.  I painted the snowflakes white and added glitter.  The images are stickers from Echo Park.  Fine glitter added to the background.  Dots added to the snowflakes and a seam binding bow to finish.

Another one using stickers, snowflakes, fine glitter, and a bow.  This one is for my sis, Cecilia who loves snow.  Well, she just might get her wish this year, lol!

And, for the final wall hanging...

I think I got glitter happy on this one.  It really doesn't look as bad in real life.  I think it's the way the light is catching it.  Anyways, my sis, Christina, loves red and gray.  She has a Ohio State family room with scarlet and gray colors.

Also, for my sisters, I found cute little bell ornaments and they light up.

As I was checking out, the lady asked if I had four sisters and I said..."Yes!"  She then replied and said that she has five!  And, when growing up they all lived on a dairy farm.  They worked hard and she is still working at keeping busy.

Believe it or not, I have made Christmas cards, but I'll post them another time.  I hope you all are doing well and may you have a wonderful blessed holiday season!  Take care!

Hugs!
