Thinking of you!

Hello!

Popping in quick to share with you a card I made for a friend to cheer her up after she had surgery.  I just love the background tulip die, which is from Pink Fresh Studio.  The scallop oval frame is from Newton's Nook and the tulip dies are from Pretty Pink Posh.  The tulips were colored using distress inks.

I'm entering this card over at The Four Seasons Challenge.

I'm also entering this card over at Darnell's I.D.E.A.S Challenge

I want to get back into my craft room soon, but I'm working on organizing and cleaning my copic markers.  I had to take a break from it for it is a big job since I have so many markers.

A little other cleaning around the house with the linen closet and junk drawer.  I'd rather be crafting than cleaning, right?!

Ok, that's all for now.  I hope you all have a great rest of the week!  Thanks so much for dropping by, take care!

Hugs!

  1. This is so pretty. I love those tulips. I haven't seen that background die before. I am going to go and look it up. Hope your clearing up goes well. You will feel very happy when it is done. There is nothing like a good sort out to give a sense of achievement xx

  2. I get that strong "spring cleaning" feeling, too, Maria, and it sure feels good to clean that linen closet, junk drawer, etc., even though we'd rather be crafting! Your spring tulip card is sweet and pretty! I was surprised to read that the background die and the tulip die were from two different companies because they are so alike. Good eye and, as always, excellent coloring! Thank you for linking to this week's I.D.E.A.S. Calendar to help inspire others! 📌 Hugs, Darnell

PS: There is a new challenge on my Blog - Ellibelle's Garden Party - where anything in or from a garden goes. Would love for you to check it out sometime :)

  5. Absolutely wonderful card, Maria! You make me want that cover plate and your tulip coloring is beautiful! Good for you with the cleaning. Unfortunately, I didn't get the Need to Clean gene--haha!
