Thank You...

Hi Friends!

Hope your weekend is off to a good start!  This is my first time playing at Card Concept!  Lots of wonderful inspiration from the design team!  I was inspired to make a classy and elegant card.
And, here is my card...

I started with a white card base and stamped the flower and leaf images.  I outlined the flower and leaf stems with a copic multi liner.  The flower was filled in with color using a blender pen.  Sentiment, gems, and ribbon for the final touch.

Thank you for dropping by!  Take care!

Hugs,
Maria

Autumn Wishes...

Hi Friends!

This is my second post for the day.  Please scroll down to see my water color card.

And, now I'd like to share with you a shaker card for the City Crafter Challenge as seen below...

I started with a brown card base and embossed it.  I die cut leaves using dies from Paper Smooches.  The paper is from Doodlebug.  Gold sequins were placed, which are from Paper Sweeties.  And, the stamp is from Precious Remembrance.  Ribbon for the final touch from Jo-Ann Fabric.  Well, it's late here and these tired eyes are tired!:-)  Thank you so much for dropping by!  Have a wonderful day!

Hugs,
Maria

Birthday Greetings!

Hi there!

Happy Friday to you!  It's a long weekend with Labor Day on Monday.  The official end to summer...sigh.  We had a good summer with cool temps...beautiful weather.  We are in dire need of rain, though.  Maybe we will get some soon.  Whatever you have planned for Labor Day, I hope it's a great one!

I made the above card for my brother-in-law.  I tried my hand at water coloring again.  I looked and looked for my water brush, but I could not find it.  I have another one on order, so I'll be practicing once again!:-)  It's a simple masculine card.  I felt like it needed something more, but for interest I lifted up the edges on top and bottom.  I used reinkers from MFT...blue raspberry, berrylicious, and sour apple.  The water color paper is from Tim Holtz.  The stamps and paper are from SU.  And, the metal dots are from K&Company.

Well, that's all for now.  Thank you for taking the time to visit here today!  Take care!

Hugs,
Maria

Make a Wish!

Hi there!

I haven't been here in far too long!  Hope all is well in your world!  I couldn't resist playing along with Colour Q this week seeing those beautiful colors...so pretty!  My mother-in-law's birthday is in three weeks.  She loves flowers and the color purple, so I came up with this card as seen below...

For my card, I started with a white card base and paired it with razzleberry and wisteria colors.  I stamped the flowers on the background, fussy, cut and popped up three for dimension.  Metal dots and sentiment for the final touch.

Thanks so much for taking time to visit here today!  Have a great day!

Hugs,
Maria
