How are you doing on this first week of January? It's very cold and windy here in NW Ohio. The snow is lovely, but difficult to drive in at times with the drifting snow. But, hey, it's winter and only a few more months until spring!:-) I just wanted to share with you today a project I made for the The Shabby Tea Room. One must follow the colors in the photo and include a monogram. This sweet little project is to sit in my craft room. I'm thinking of making another one for my niece who is due in May. So, I'll have to wait a bit until she chooses a name for the baby. Here is the inspiration photo we were to follow:
Supplies: Paper: My Mind's Eye, Kraft Outlet, Recollections Glitter Stickers: K&Company Ink: Tea Dye(Ranger, SU(Pool Party) Ribbon: My Stash Doilies: Amish Country, Jo-Ann Fabric Pearls: SU Resin Frame: Melissa Frances Flowers, Leaves: Prima
What a stunning card, Maria! Love the colors and all the fabulous details! I wish you all the best for this new year!! Hugs
ReplyDeleteMaria, this is beautiful. I love the cloth doily and that beautiful satin ribbon. I can see why you would keep it in your craft room.

ReplyDeletePs. thankyou so much for visiting me!
Oh, this is pretty! What a nice thing to look at day after day in your craft room. I like the dyed doily under all the elements. And send some of your snow to NJ, would ya? LOL We've not had much at all, and I love it!
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful! I love the cloth and paper doilies together.
ReplyDeleteOh! My! Gosh! This is mindblowingly gorgeous!!! I don't even know where to start! I love the way you built up the layers, starting and ending with a frame, the colors are beautifully feminine (I adore that touch of light green), and those doilies are amazing. Do you make all the beautiful crocheted doilies you use in your projects? You know, if your niece sees this, you're going to HAVE to make one for her. ;) ~Hugs
ReplyDeleteOMGosh... This is stunning, Maria!
ReplyDeleteYou think it's only a couple of more months until spring!
ReplyDeleteLove how this turned out. The lace and doily is fantastic and oh so elegant.
