Paper Sweeties January Inspiration Challenge #15

Hi Friends!

Happy New Year!  I hope that you had a wonderful Christmas!  And, I wish for you a happy healthy New Year!  We enjoyed our Christmas with family.  A few didn't make it due to having the flu, but we are thankful for those who were able to make it.  All the food was delicious, and we had a great time of being together.

Now it is time again for another Paper Sweeties Challenge!  Isn't that a little sweetie dressed up so cute to look like a snowman?  You can be inspired by the photo and/or the colors.  Whatever your creative heart desires.  So, please join in on the challenge for the winner will receive a $20 gift certificate and be invited to be a guest designer for the following month!  Since it is January 1st, I was inspired to go with a New Year's card...

I started with a white card base and added Bazzill(Nordic Pines) paper.  The stamp sets that I used from Paper Sweeties are Celebrate, which are the balloons and hat.  I added silver glitter and red pearl cotton.  The numbers are from the stamp set Fancy Monograms.  And, the sentiments are from the stamp set You're Invited.  I used a border punch from Fiskars and a scallop border die from MFT.  Gems and ribbon were added to finish off the card.

Ok, well that's all for now, friends.  Please hop over to see what the rest of the design team created.  We have several new designers added to our Paper Sweeties team!  Please stop by their blogs and leave some love...Amber Kroening, Annette Allen, Annette Witherspoon, Kerin Sylvester, Lesley Croghan, Lisa Elton, and Nancy Penir!  A lot of awesome inspiration to be seen!  And, please note sweet new products will be available for purchase on 1/15/14!
