It's time once again for the Paper Sweeties Monthly Challenge! And, I'm excited to announce that the winner will be awarded a $25 gift certificate to the store! You can make a project and be inspired by anything in the photo...anything goes!
This is my second post for today, so please scroll down to see my card made for Dies R Us Challenge! And, here is my fun shaker card for Paper Sweeties...
For my card, I was inspired by the gingham heart in the inspiration photo. What a beautiful Valentine wreath. I would love to have one like that hanging on my front door! You can be inspired by anything in the photo, so please do join us!
I started with a red card base and paired it with gingham paper. The heart is from the stamp set Pretty Posies. And, the love sentiment is from the set Little Wishes. I practiced at least two times before I stamped the love sentiment to get the spacing right around the heart. The heart border was made using Sweet Cuts-Sweet Borders. For the sequin mix, I used Strawberry, Marshmallow, and confetti hearts. Ribbon Frosting and gems to finish the card.
