Make a Wish!
Hi, Friends!
It seems like it's feast or famine for me here on my blog. But, I've been busy with projects due for next month. Last weekend was busy with friends and family. Life in general gets busy at times.
I did manage to get a birthday card made for my friend, Barb. I purchased an awesome die from Reverse Confetti (Striped Frame Cover Panel), and I'm entering this card over at Happy Little Stampers. Did I need another die? Well, ummm...nope, but I love it! I can see myself using this die a lot. I'm already thinking of cards for Christmas that I can make with it. Ok, without further delay here is my card...
For my card I started with a white card base and added the die cut frame from Reverse Confetti. I water colored the balloon die, which is from Paper Sweeties(Happy Cake Day) with distress oxide ink of worn lipstick. Twine from SU was added for interest. The sentiment is from PTI(Birthday Cheer) and embossed. PTI rhinestones to finish the card.
I thought I'd add a photo of two little sweet birds that I saw on my deck a few days ago...
I'm not sure, but possibly the momma bird is to the left and the baby bird to the right. Before I knew it, the momma bird flew next to the baby bird. I was able to snap a photo while looking out my kitchen window. I just love watching the birds that come into the yard! And, here is the momma bird sitting right next to the baby bird...
And, they seemed to listen very well when I told them to look at the camera...lol! Ok, well that's all I have for now. Take care and have a wonderful rest of the week! Thanks so much for dropping by!
Hugs,
Maria

For my card, I started with a white card base and made clouds using broken china distress oxide ink. I used lots of Paper Sweeties goodies and the links are shown below. Jake, his Santa outfit, boat, and sun were colored with copics.
Happy shopping to you! All products are on sale while supplies last. Debbie needs to make room for new Holiday stamps to come soon. How many more days until Christmas? Ummm....160 days! Yikes! I still have some time to make those Christmas cards...whew!:-)

Paper Sweeties July 2017 Release Rewind!
Hi, there!
Welcome to Paper Sweeties Release Rewind! Today we share with you a project with new stamps/dies combined with previous released stamps/dies. And, here is my card...
Oh, how wonderful it would be to always follow those words...live joyfully and think positive! I've found as I'm getting older that I'm trying to make a conscious effort not to sweat the small stuff. It certainly isn't worth it! Let go and let God are good words to live by. But, oh how I love to control things and do it my way. But, all one can do is to keep trying, right?!
For my card, I started with a white card base and paired it with navy blue and pink. I didn't water color the pink base. The paper came that way, but it gives the look as if it's water colored. What an easy way to water color, lol! I have Madison in her summer dress from the set Wishing You. She was die cut using Sweet Cuts-Madison. The wreath, flowers, and sentiments are from the new set Kindness Matters/Sweet Cuts-Kindness Matters. The bird is from the set Home Tweet Home/Sweet Cuts-Home Tweet Home. The new rectangle scalloped frames are from the set Sweet Cuts-Rectangle Scallop Frames. Sequins(Blueberry) to finish the card.

Dies R Us Challenge-July 15, 2017(Die Cut Sentiment as Focus)
Hi, friends!
It's time for another Dies R Us Challenge! The theme is Die Cut Sentiment as Focus! I decided to make a fun shaker birthday card for my sister-in-law. And, here is my card...
For my card, I started with a navy card base and paired it with paper from American Crafts. The birthday die cut is from Memory Box. The zig zag frame and little chicks with cake are from Lawn Fawn. The sequins are from Paper Sweeties, which are blueberry, marshmallow, and cotton candy. Dots and ribbon to finish the card. I hope my sis-in-law likes the bday card I made for her. I had lots of fun making it! The dies with links that I used on this card are listed below...
There are so many choices at Dies R Us store! And, new items are added all the time! I'd love to see your project in the challenge... happy creating!

Paper Sweeties Plan Your Life Series-June!
Today I'm revealing my planner pages for the month of July! There isn't a new planner set for this month, but I've used many previously released sets. I decided to go with a patriotic theme since the 4th was last week. I hope you had a great 4th. We had a wonderful time watching a fabulous fireworks display here in town over the river! And, now a closer peek at my planner pages...
Madison is in her cute outfit from the set I Pick You holding her sparkler ready for the 4th of July celebration! Her sparkler, flag, and sentiment is from the set I Love Summer. The star banner was made using Sweet Cuts-Be Happy. The fence was die cut using Sweet Cuts-Home Tweet Home. The flowers were stamped from the same set and die cut Home Tweet Home. The planner sets that I used are Planner Series:Get Your Craft On, Planner Series:Happy Icons, Planner Series: Summer Sentiments, Planner Series: Vacation .
