Merry Christmas!

Hi, there!

Just popping in quick to share with you a card I made at a crop Saturday I went to with my friend, Nancy.  I made several cards throughout the day and had fun with friends!  A highlight was the homemade Chinese food, egg rolls, and buckeye cupcake....chocolate with peanut butter...yum!!

I feel like I'm behind this year.  Where does the time go?  We did go to Las Vegas over Thanksgiving with our son and two of his friends.  We met up with our sis-in-law and her husband towards the end of the week.  My husband and the guys played black jack.  My son was the one who came out ahead of everyone.  No big losers, so that was good!  I didn't gamble because I don't want to lose my money.  I wanted to save my money for the sales that weekend!  Also, we saw one of the Cirque du Soleil shows...Beatles...very good!

I have more cards to make and my baking to do.  I managed to get chex mix done today.  I mixed up sugar cookie dough to bake for tomorrow.  My husband has been helping me as much as he can, but he has a torn meniscus in his left knee...ouch!  The poor guy is hobbling around doing the best that he can.  He returns to the doctor tomorrow to go over the MRI results.

Oh, yes....now onto my card...

My card was very easy with the sentiment already on the paper.  The Santa is from Pretty Pink Posh and the snowflakes are from CAS-ual Friday.  This card will go to my friend, Peggi.  I'm entering my card over at Simon Says

Ok, I'll be back on Friday with a Paper Sweeties project for our 25 Days of Christmas.  Thanks so much for taking the time to drop by today!  Take care!

Hugs!

  2. Oh gosh, I wish we had food at our stamping classes! Lucky you, wish I could have been there. I hope hubby gets good news from his MRI, I'm sure he is in pain. It sounds like you had a great time in Vegas and how cool you did that with your son and his friends. That is a cute card with touches of gold. I'm behind too and I don't know why.

  6. Perfect use of that neat paper, Maria--so cute! I still need to bake goodies to take to the vet & groomer. Chex Mix is a tradition in my family--need to make that, too!
