Dies R Us Challenge December 15, 2019!(Anything Christmas)

Hi, Friends!

How are your Christmas preparations going?  It's such a busy time of the year!  I hope you are feeling the holiday spirit and have time to join our challenge!  The theme is Anything Christmas!  An easy theme, but we just ask that you use at least one metal die to be eligible for the prize.

I decided to use a nativity scene die for my card.  All dies were used on this card except for the inside of the card with the sentiment from Altenew.

For my card, I started with a white card base and sponged on distress ink of Mustard Seed.  The manger scene is from IO.  The scalloped frame is from LF and the sentiment is from Elizabeth Craft Designs.  I added a gem to the star.

A view of the inside of the card...

The sentiment is from Altenew.  All dies that were used for my card with links are listed below.  I hope you create a project using dies and join us for the challenge!

Well, the above card was my second try because I wasn't happy with the first one.  So, here is my first try.  Which is your favorite?

There are so many choices at Dies R Us store!  Hope you check out the store for  amazing selection of dies, stamps, papers, inks, etc.!  I'd love to see your project in the challenge...happy creating!

Maria—that’s me!

Thanks so much for taking time to visit here today!  Have a great day!

  1. Oh so pretty and beautiful Maria... Have a beautiful Christmas!

  2. This is a lovely card with the light shimmering behind the silhouette image! It's the real reason for the season and it's a beautiful creation!

  3. Beautiful scene with that die from IO. Simple and says so much. The inside verse is so uplifting. Both cards are pretty but the Merry Christmas on the first one you made isn't too visible. I love, love, love the card you sent. Thank you so much and have a wonderful holiday with your family.

  4. This is just perfect in every way! From the design to the message, it truly needs nothing else. Merry Christmas to you and your family Maria!

  5. What a gorgeous card! And what a lovely way to remind us all of the true meaning of Christmas! Love it!!

  6. BOTH are fab but I like the first one with the little bit of sponging. And I LOVE your blog headed, too! Pretty!

  7. I like them both, but the 2nd one you made is my favorite. The nativity & sentiment stand out more & I love the simplicity!
