I want to thank you all for your sweet comments and prayers regarding the loss of my great niece, Isabel. It's appreciated!
It's a cold damp day here in NW Ohio. The temps have dropped once again to 40's and 50's. I'll be dreaming now for summer to return unless I take a trip to a tropical island. And, I don't see that happening in the near future, lol! Anyways, I'd like to share with you a card I made for my great nephew's birthday. I'm entering this card over at NBUS.
The images are from Paper Smooches. Unfortunately, the company is now out of business. I purchased a few things while they had some great sales. I added the number 7 using a die from TE. The background panel was die cut using a die from The Greetery. All images were colored with copics.
Well, that's all for now. I plan to refill some copic markers. If only I can keep my fingers from getting all stained with color. But, that's what we crafters do is get messy at times, right?! And, it certainly is worth it!:-) Ok, friends, I thank you so much for dropping by today! Take care and have a wonderful day!
Maria, you really scored with the sale at PS...this is a great card and one that I am sure that little guy will love! I was so impressed with your story about your great niece. she touched my heart and thank you for sharing her LOVE of Jesus. Miracles do happen!ReplyDelete

It's cold and damp here too and a good day to stay inside. This cute card will bring a smile to your great nephew's face. I love that cute sentiment inside. About that trip to a tropical island, if it does come about I would be happy to bring my stamps and join you.ReplyDelete
What a perfect outer space card for a 7-year-old boy, Maria! Love all the images and your sky is amazing! Thank you for sharing with everyone at NBUS!ReplyDelete
I'm so sorry to go back and read about the death of your great-niece, Isobel. What an inspiring and courageous angel girl. She sounds like she was a larger than life little person who will be greatly missed, but always remembered. Lots of love and hugs, Darnell
If you're off to a tropical island put me on the list Lol! What a fabulous card - inside and out. He's going to love this! Have a beautiful day and stay warm!ReplyDelete
What a fun little birthday card for your great nephew! Those images are cute and I love the sentiment inside too! If you're heading to a tropical island, can I hitch my rowboat to the back of yours? My friend and I are taking a rowboat with 2 oars and a big cooler to anywhere in the world where we can behave like normal people again! LOLReplyDelete
Darling images & beautifully colored, as always! Love that Greetery die!ReplyDelete
Adorable card. Perfect for your 7 year old great nephew.ReplyDelete
