Happy Birthday!

Hi, there!

Just popping in quick to share with you a card I made for my niece.  I used the Pretty Pink Posh dies for the images.  The background die is from Pink Fresh and the birthday sentiment is from Hero Arts, I think.  I have that stamp set packed away at the moment for I'm going on a craft retreat this weekend.  I hope my hip holds up, but it's just here in town and I'll be coming home at night since I haven't been sleeping the best.  I have a hip replacement scheduled for 5-29.

I just realized that I think I have the butterfly upside down?  Should the large wings be at the top?  It's just like me, I get turned upside down at times, lol!

Ok, friends that's all for now.  Time to check on the laundry.  Take care and thanks so much for taking the time to drop by today!

Hugs!

  1. Totally delightful card, Maria! I think butterflies can be all different shapes--at least in the world of crafting! I know the surgery can't come soon enough, but soon you'll be a new woman!

  3. Stunning card Maria, nice colors and like that background with your tulips! Enjoy your stamping weekend. I'm a year out from my hip replacement and it is so nice to be able to do anything now. Email if you have any questions.

  4. This is so cheerful. I love that fun background die, perfect for your colorful tulips. Pain is no fun and wears on you so I'm glad you have your surgery scheduled but hate it's still a month away. What a relief it will be when it's over and you're back to 100%.
