Smile!
Hi, Friends!
TGIF! Hope you are having a great Friday! I'll have a fun day tomorrow by taking out my friend, Nancy, to breakfast and then to a new craft store to celebrate her birthday! There aren't too many around here other than the usual Jo-Ann's, Michael's, and Hobby Lobby. So, we'll venture out about an hour away and swoon over paper and dies, etc. when we reach the store...yeah!:-)
Anyways, I noted the challenge over at City Crafter Challenge to make a project with the main colors of red, white, and blue.
And, here is my card...
I got out my neglected paint sprays and went to work. The fabric cameras are from Studio Calico. I sprayed them with Perfect Pearls Mist(Forever Red). The center panel of cameras is washi tape from Recollections. The twine is from Paper Sweeties. And, the sentiment is from Precious Remembrance. The black card stock panel was sprayed with Perfect Pearls Mist(Turquoise) for the final touch. I thought this card would be great to have on hand for most any occasion for male or female. Well, that's all for now. Take care and have a wonderful weekend!
Hugs,
Maria

Happy Birthday!
Hi there!
Just thought I'd pop in quick with a birthday card I made for my great nephew, Gabriel! I received some new dies from Lil' Inker and made the card below. I'm entering this card over at Seize the Birthday.
The paper and dots are from Doodlebug. And, the balloons and number dies are from TE. The final touch was the sentiment from PTI and twine from American Crafts. Hope you're having a marvelous Monday! Thank you for taking time to visit here today!
Hugs,
Maria

Hugs & Wishes...
Hi there!
Happy Sunday to you! It's one gorgeous day here! It's a perfect day in the 70's. It reminds me of the wonderful weather we had thirty-five years ago. Yes, today is our 35th wedding anniversary! This afternoon my sweet husband will take me out to a delicious dinner. And, I will thank him for putting up with me for this many years...lol!;-)
Anyways, about my card today, I'm entering this card over at City Crafter Challenge. What a sweet inspirational photo with all those yummy fruits! I was inspired to make a card with strawberries, which are in season right now and so delicious! As you can see, my card is fairly simple. I was going to fussy cut the stems and paper piece, but it was very tedious. So, I went with the twine, which resulted with fab dimension. Gingham and polka dot washi tape for interest along with a tad bit of sewing.
Ok, dear friends, thanks so much for viewing my card today! Take care!
Hugs,
Maria

By the seashore!
Hi Friends!
How are you doing today? I noted the theme over at Our Beautiful World..."By the Seashore". I love the water and thought I'd enter this vacation photo from last year when we went to St. Thomas. We took a day trip for snorkeling and hiking to the British Virgin Islands...so beautiful! I could not believe the color of the water! I certainly would like to go back some day. If you love water and want to see more amazing photos, go on over and take a look!
Thanks for dropping by today! Take care!

Maria

Paper Sweeties June Release Rewind!
Hi Friends!
It's June Release Rewind time! This is the day where we highlight new and previous released stamp sets!
If you've seen my previous posts this week with the *new* Showering You With Love stamp set, you would have seen clouds, boots, and umbrella. And, today from the same set I'm using the watering can! The flowers and watering can were colored with copics. The sun rays were made using a Tim Holtz stencil. Another stamp set previously released for the flowers and leaves with coordinating dies is from the set, Hippity Hoppity Easter Wishes. I know that Easter is over, but the flowers are just too cute from that set! And, the sentiments stamped in the middle of the flowers and butterflies along the right side of the card are from the stamp set, Happy Wishes. The other items from Paper Sweeties that I used is the die for the grass(Thanks Snow Much), which can also be used for snow. And, the sequins(Cookie Dough).
Just a reminder that the inspiration challenge is going on until the end of the month. Join in on the fun for I can't wait to see what you create! Here is the inspiration photo for the challenge...
Please visit the blogs below for some wonderful inspiration! Take care and have fun! Thanks so much for dropping by!

Paper Sweeties June Release Countdown!
Hi there!
Welcome back! Today I'm highlighting the same stamp sets as I did yesterday...Splish Splash(sentiment) at top of card and Showering You With Love(boots and sentiment)! I used the die, Sweet Cuts-Showering You With Love, to cut the boot. The *new* stamp sets and dies will be available tomorrow! Aren't those cute fun rain boots! Just a couple weeks ago I could have used a pair!:-)
I started with an aqua card base. The center panel was embossed to give the appearance of rain drops. I stamped the boot image onto patterned paper and colored with a black copic marker. A border punch was used for interest. Twine, hearts, and enamel dots to finish the card.
Follow the blog list below to view wonderful creations from my teammates...

Hi there!
Paper Sweeties is sponsoring the House of Cards challenge June 2nd through June 15th and providing their winner with a $20 gift certificate to the shop! This is a blog hop, so you should have arrived from Lisa Elton's blog. If you haven't, please start all the way back at the House of Cards hop post and follow the list found in the body of the hop post! The above photo is for inspiration. I was inspired by the numbers and flowers. And, I made the following card for my sister for her birthday, which is June 22nd. I hope you enter the challenge! I can't wait to see what you create!
For my card, I started with a cream card base and added yellow and patterned paper. I used You Make Me Smile stamp set from Paper Sweeties for the sentiments and Fancy Monograms for the numbers. The seam binding ribbon, Vintage Winter White is also from Paper Sweeties. The trims are from Webster's Pages. And the big white flower is from Prima. There are many Paper Sweeties designers with awesome creations for more inspiration.
Now get to hoppin'! Your next stop is Michelle Bala's blog! If you get lost along the way, you can always head back to the original blog hop post -- and don't forget to link up a project at the House of Cards blog after completing the hop for an extra chance to win a mystery prize from one of our fabulous sponsors, too!

And, here is my card...
For my card, I stared with a white card base and added pretty floral paper from MME. I colored Sophie with copics and used the coordinating Sweet Cuts-Sophie. Her dress and sentiment are from the stamp set Dream a Little Dream. And, the banner and presents are from the stamp set Celebrate. The seam binding ribbon to match her lovely princess gown is Rose Petal Cupcake, which is also from Paper Sweeties. I added gold thread, gold metal dots, and trim to finish the card.

Dies R Us June Challenge(Team A)-"One For the Boys/Father's Day"
Hi Friends!
It's time once again for Dies R Us Challenge! The theme this month for Team A is "One For the Boys/Father's Day"! Dust off those dies and have fun making a masculine card. You have until June 13th to enter. The winner will receive a $10 gift certificate to the Dies R Us store! Last month we had lots and lots of entries...116...yeah!:-) So, come on over and join in on the fun!
The above card is for my husband for Father's Day. I just love the sentiment! My son told me not too long ago that he very much admires his father for his integrity. As my son gets older, he appreciates us more. Yes, it's finally happening...yeah...lol!
For my card, I started with a black card base. It was then paired with silver and diamond background paper. I stamped the car image onto a white die cut from Spellbinders(Labels-2). I colored the image with distress markers and copics. I added mini gears from Memory Box Dies. The star border at top and majestic border along the left side of the card are from Taylored Expressions. Button and twine to finish off the card.
The dies listed above can be purchased at the Dies R Us Store.
And, here is the list of dies that I used today...
