Happy Birthday!

I hope you all are doing well and staying safe during these challenging times.  I thought I'd pop back in again due to the fun birthday challenge over at Seize the Birthday  I made a birthday card for my great nephew who has a birthday next month.  I think he'll get a kick out of the playful giraffe on the pogo stick!

For my card, I started with a white card base and made a star stencil background using distress inks.  The stencil is from TCW(Balzer Designs).  The giraffe is from MFT colored with copics.  The stars are from Sweet 'n Sassy.

The weather is still up and down here in NW Ohio.  Yesterday, I went out to walk the dog and didn't have to wear a coat.  Today it's back to being chilly and windy.  Sheila is loving her walks and extra attention!  The highlight of my day was seeing a cardinal.  I'm keeping my fingers crossed to see another one today!  I think next week the temps will be more stable in the 50's...yeah!  Ok, that's all for now.  Take care, my friends!!

Easter...

Hi, friends!

Just popping in quick to share with you a few simple Easter cards.  They were so easy to make since the panels are from PhotoPlay.  All I had to do was cut the panels and add details...easy peasy!  The cross on the first card was gold embossed.  The image is from Stampendous.  A gold heart was added to the center.  For the second card, I added glitter to the cross and a gem.  The sentiment is from Simon Says.  Add, on the third card just a gold heart and ribbon was added.  I'm entering these cards over at Simon Says.

For the inside of the cards, I stamped a cross, flowers, and a sentiment.  The images and sentiment are from Simon Says, also.

Ok, not much else going on around here.  Just the usual of cleaning and crafting.  I hope you are all doing well!  Take care and stay safe!

Hugs!

Paper Sweeties March 2020-Release Rewind!

Hi, friends!

Welcome to Paper Sweeties March Release Rewind!

Debbie is releasing a new stamp set this month with coordinating dies called Sorry.    It's a versatile set for several occasions.  A couple days ago I made a get well card.  Yesterday, I made a belated birthday card.  And, now today I'm showcasing my pet sympathy card.  This card went to a friend who recently lost her precious dog.

For my card, I started with a peach card base.  The sorry die cut is from the new set.  I used tan and brown foam for the die cut sentiment.  The scalloped frames are from the set Sweet Cuts-oval scalloped frames.  I used Nuvo Bright Gold Drops for interest on the frames.  A sweet dog button was placed in the center of the large oval frame.  Twine to finish the card.

A view of the inside of the card...

Our sweet pets surely leave paw prints on our hearts!

Lucky!

Hi, there!

I'm still thinking the color green!  It is nearly St. Patrick's Day and since my husband is Irish I thought I'd make him a card.  Gnomes are so popular now days and I used a Sugar Pea gnome from a Christmas stamp set.  All I had to do was color one green and there ya go a little Irish gnome!:-)  I'm entering this card over at Rainbow Card Challenge.

For my card, I started with a white card base.  I paired it with light green and an embossed shamrock panel.  The gnome(Sugar Pea) was colored with copics.  The alphas are from Simon Says and the sentiment is from CAS-ual Fridays.  Twine and a gold heart to finish the card.

A peek of the inside of the card...

The shamrock and sentiment are from CAS-ual Fridays, also.

One more card...

This next card was fairly simple to make with a panel from Doodlebug.  The scalloped die I used for the borders is from MFT.  Nuvo Glitter Accents(Fresh Snowfall) was added to the coins in the pot for shine.  Gold heart and twine to finish the card.

Wishing for you all the joys your heart can hold today, my friends!  Thank you so much for taking the time to drop by!  Blessings to you!

Hugs!
