We did miss the storms that went through the mid west.  My thoughts and prayers out to all those who had damage.

I made homemade chicken soup yesterday even with it being hot weather.  I was going to make it last week when it was cooler, but our son came up and had different plans.  I'm just lucky that my husband isn't picky.  He was happy to get homemade soup, salad, and fresh banana nut bread.  I'm blessed that he is so easy to cook for.  Well, over and out for now.  I hope you all are doing well!  Take care!  Hugs!!

  3. This is a sweet anniversary card with that cute doily look heart and bright, cheerful paper. I'm glad the storms missed you, they were really severe in some places. Chicken soup is always good and banana nut bread sounds yummy. Lucky hubby.

  4. What a pretty anniversary card! Loving the doily heart with those pretty floral papers and the accent flower and leaves at the top look so cute! I'm glad you dodged the storm bullet, but the home made soup is always a standard in my home too! I just made sausage, potato and corn soup last week as a matter of fact! LOL
