Hi, there!I'm popping in quick to share with you a card I made for my husband. He retires officially on September 1st. The image is from SU and colored with copics. The panels were die cut using The Greetery dies. For the inside of the card, I hand drew a pillow and placed the image sideways. On his first day of retirement, he says..."So, what's the plan today?" I thought I know what I have planned. I told him that we will designate a day just for fun on Wednesdays. We have been keeping busy around here with yard work and I cleaned my craft room. It may not look like it because I have so many craft items, but it really feels good to get things more organized. My son came up to help with some internet issues and to help my husband put in a new garage door opener., I'm happy that they are keeping busy and I can do what I need to do. Well, blogger has been driving me crazy, how about you? For some reason it want's to underline everything and I can't seem to figure it out. So, I apologize for all the underlining. Well, I guess it's ok because it doesn't show when I publish it...sheesh!Also, I made my husband a pie to celebrate...a key lime cream pie....Thanks so much for dropping by today! Happy Retirement!

ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, what a fun card, Maria! Those pants just crack me up. Great job of thinking on the inside, that is so cute. Sounds like you are keeping busy and having a clean craft room is awesome. I haven't used the new blogger yet and since I'm not good with technology, I'm scared that when it makes me I'll be in a fog. If you don't see posts from me you'll know I'm off in cyberspace. I don't make pies, but our apples have been bigger than usual this year & I've made a couple apple crisps that were tasty!
