Hi, Friends!
For the second challenge of the month, the theme continues as Anything Goes! We ask that you use at least one die on your project for the challenge that Dies R Us sells! Please come and join the fun and have a chance to win a gift certificate at the Dies R Us Challenge!
Today I am sharing a card I made for my husband. He had a birthday a few days ago. We were able to get away for a couple days to our favorite area in Amish Country of Berlin, Ohio. Lots of shopping, beautiful country, and delicious food, so fun!
For my card, I started with a navy card base and paired it with a die cut frame using IO Checkered Frames. I used a Tim Holtz stencil(Speckles) for the background. The balloons were made with a Newton's Nook circle stencil. I hand drew in the rest of the balloon. The image is from MFT. And, the birthday sentiment die is from Lawn Fawn.
The little fella has quite the outfit, doesn't he?! Some men do have fashion sense, but this one does not. And, if truth be told...shhh....hubby doesn't either, lol! But, that's ok, for he has many other talents!
The links for the dies are listed below...
It will ship to both the US and Canada. Didi Crafts will carry some of the same products as DRU, but most will be different. Now our Canadian friends don't have to worry about huge taxes or shipping fees. How great is that!?!
My teammates have some fabulous inspiration for you today. Sit back, relax, and take a look.... (you can click on their name to go to their personal blogs and get more detailed information about each project)

ReplyDeleteLove this birthday card! Your guy looks quite happy with his fashion sense :-).
ReplyDeleteThis is so fun! I thought wearing those pants this guy should be playing golf! The frame and splatters added to the fun of the balloons. I'm glad you guys got to get away and have a great time.
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday to your hubby. Glad you enjoyed a few days of fun. Love your masculine birthday card. Green, blue and white is one of my favourite colour combos for masculine cards. Your background is beautiful!
