Hi, there!

I hope you are doing well on this fine Tuesday evening!  It was a nice fall day that got up to about 68 degrees.  Tomorrow will be even better in the 70's.

I'd like to share a card that I made for my hair stylist.  She and her husband have many bee hives and sell honey.  So, of course, I wanted to include a sweet little bee on her card.

For her card, I started with a white card base and used a PTI stencil for the background.  The stamps and images are from Concord & 9th.  I sponged some orange ink on the large flower petals for interest and added color with a copic marker on the small flower.

We enjoyed a camping trip to Maumee Bay State Park last week.  It is a lovely area with many deer.  While we were out walking on on the board walk, we saw this little guy as seen below.  He didn't seem bothered by us at all and continued to eat while we were taking in the beautiful nature.

We may be done camping for the season.  The weatherman says that frost is in the forecast over the weekend....brrr.  I'm not ready for cold weather...are you?

The apple festival is this weekend here in town.  It's that time of year for apples and pumpkins.  I'm looking forward to some festival food, especially the yummy hot apple dumplings with ice cream.  Thanks so much for taking the time to drop by!  Take care and have a wonderful week!  Hugs!

  1. That's such a perfect card you created for your hairstylist and I'm sure she'll love that you took time to make it especially for her! Love the camping photos and wish we could still go camping! Some of the best times of our lives were spent in front of campfires and out in nature :)

  2. Your stylist will fall in love with this cute card made especially for her. How cool that you were able to get up close with that sweet baby and he wasn't afraid. We are having very cool mornings here too but warmer afternoons. Cold means more time indoors making cards.

  3. Oh my gosh what a beautiful card! Thought the background was pattern paper or an embossing folder… fabulous stencilling! Your stylist will / must have love it.

    Amazing camping pics, too.

  4. Hello Maria. What a bright and happy card for your stylist and a cute little bee. On scrolling through your previous makes I love your bright and colourful cards. Thank you for visiting my blog and leaving love.I hope you will call again and I have clicked on your follow button. x

  5. A lovey card such happy colours, such beautiful photographs, what a trip it must have been.

  6. Hot apple dumplings with ice cream sounds wonderful! Hope you enjoyed the festival! What a pretty place to go camping & always fun to see the wildlife! Your card is beautiful with the blue background & sweet flowers! I have the script stencils on my wishlist!
