Hi, Friends!
Merry Christmas to you! It's winding down and just a couple days away is the big day! I hope all your preparations are under control. My son is bringing over a couple of friends today, so I'm wondering if more wrapping is in store for me. But, that's ok...it's fun! I'm also wondering what plans are regarding food, etc. The store is only a couple miles away...no worries!
Anyways, I made the above card for my friend, Nancy, who gave me crafty Christmas goodies. We love owls and are always exchanging owl cards and anything "owl".
I used several stamps/dies for this thank you card. The owl image is a retired Sweet 'n Sassy stamp. The thank you sentiment is from PTI. The snowflakes are from Avery Elle. The frame die is from MFT. And, the tassel is from SU.
And, it's looks like it's going to be a white Christmas here in NW Ohio! I took a few photos this morning. I nearly got a female cardinal, too, but she flew away. Anyways, here is a photo looking out our back door...
Well, I better scoot. I need to clean the family room before son and friends come over. Wishing for you and yours a blessed Christmas! Take care and thanks so much for dropping by today!
Hugs,
Maria

Merry Christmas!
City Crafter Challenge
(Christmas trees)
Still making those Christmas cards? I thought I was done until I saw the gorgeous Christmas tree image as seen above over at City Crafter! Such a lovely tree with wonderful color!
I brought out my new metallic colored pencils from Faber-Castell, so I gold embossed a tree and colored some bulbs. I wanted the tree to shine and made it very CAS. I changed it up three times before I settled with the final photo. I'm just one of those gals that have to layer and layer and add and add...lol! So, anyways...here is my card....
I started with a blue card base and added a scallop panel that was die cut. The die is from MFT. The tree image and sequin are from Paper Sweeties and the ribbon is from PTI. Well, that's all for now. I hope all is going well in your world during this holiday season. Take care and thanks so much for dropping by today!
Hugs,
Maria

Dies R Us Challenge -December 15, 2017! (White on White)
Hi, Friends!
I'm here to share with you my card for the Dies R Us Challenge! The theme is (White on White).
I made a Christmas card with a sentiment die cut and a nativity scene. And, here is my card...
I started with a white base and paired it with gold. The gold border was made using Stitched Scalloped Borders from Lawn Fawn. I added a glittered white panel behind the die cuts. The die cuts were die cut with white and glittered card stock for dimension. The sentiment and nativity scene is from Penny Black. I just love the sentiments and nativity die cut! It was so easy making a Christmas card just using die cuts! A gold Nuvo crystal drop added to the star. Gold ribbon with clear button and twine to finish off the card.
All dies that were used for my card with links are listed below. I hope you create a project using dies and join us for the challenge!

First up, I made a Christmas ornament using the sentiment die from Sweet Cuts-Joy. The frame using gold paper was die cut using Sweet Cuts-Circle Scallop Frames. Here is my star ornament, which will be given to one of my sisters...
Next up, is my reindeer ornament made using one of the Sweet Cuts-Circle Scallop Frames.
Also, I made trivets for gifts using the wonderful Christmas Photo Play paper, which is available in the shop! And, here is my first trivet...
It was simple as pie to make these. I merely glued on the Photo Play paper and cut out the images from the same paper Black borders around the images were added. The twine with bells and red berries were glued to the top of the trivet. I added three layers of mod podge to finish the project. I had lots of fun making these projects to be given as gifts!
Here is another trivet with just twine and berries added at the top. Actually the trivets can be used as a hanging decoration, too!
Here is a side view of the first trivet...
You still with me? Just one more project I made using the awesome Photo Play Paper...

Paper Sweeties Plan Your Life Series-December 2017!
Paper Sweeties Plan Your Life Series-December!
Hi, Friends!
Today I'm revealing my planner pages for the month of December! There isn't a new planner set for this month, but I've used many previously released sets. I decided to go with a good little boy/girl theme. I made signs for Santa that they have been nice all year long! And, now a closer peek at my planner pages...
As I stated above, The little boy and girl have been extra good and they are from the set Planner Series: Checklist. The cookie jar and wreaths at the top of the pages are from the set Stand Add-on: Mistletoe. The paper is from Photo Play, which is available in the shop, too! The large gift at the top of the page was colored with copics and die cut using the set Let's Party and Sweet Cuts-Let's Party.
The planner stamps that I used on the pages are Planner Series:Get Your Craft On, Planner Series: Happy Icons, Planner Series: Happy Holidays, and Planner Series-Celebrate and Plan Your Life Series: Checklist.
I had lots of fun decorating my planner for December!
I hope you
check out our planner stamps and have fun decorating your
planner, too!

Hi, there!
I'd like to share with you a card made for the Winter Coffee Lovers' Blog Hop! There will be lots of prizes and Paper Sweeties will be awarding a $25 gift certificate to one lucky winner!
And, here is my card...
For my card, I started with a white card base and paired it with a background made with distress inks of broken china and seedless preserves. The sentiment is from the set Coffee, Yes Please. The snowman is from the set Snow Friends. The bird and snowflakes are from the set Deck the Halls. I just love the darling bird with the Santa hat! He's helping with the piles of snow balls, which is from the set Wagon Add-on: Snowballs for Sale. After a winter's day of fun, they will be ready for a steaming hot cup of coffee! The coffee cup is from the same set as the sentiment and it was filled with yummy (Latte Coffee) sequins!

Please check out the following inspiration from my teammates...
I hope you enjoy all the inspiration from the winter coffee lovers' blog hop! Take care and have a great week!

First up is my shaker tag...
The sweet happy deer is from the set Jingle all the Way. I colored him with copics. I just love this happy little deer! The tree is from the set Meet me under the Mistletoe. I stamped it in green and went over the sentiment with a yellow copic marker. I colored the rest of the tree green. The sequin mix is (Winter Mix). And, the frame was made using Sweet Cuts-Oval Scallop Frames. Button, twine, and (Green Apple) ribbon to finish the tag.
Next up, is my CAS tag made using Sweet Cuts-For You for the tag. The joy sentiment die cut is from Sweet Cuts-Joy. It was die cut once with photo play paper and cut once with foam paper for dimension. And, the joy sentiment is from the set Meet me under the Mistletoe. Such a lovely elegant sentiment, don't you think? Sticker gem, twine and (Green Apple) ribbon to finish the tag. Here is my tag...
And, my final tag was made using Sweet Cuts-Rectangle Scallop Frames. The same joy die cut as seen on the second tag. The same tree as seen on the first tag. The gift is from the set Merry Little Christmas. Gold Nuvo drops were added for interest. Gold twine, button, and Licorice ribbon to finish the tag. Here is my tag...
Ok, now onto my card with sweet Jesus in the manger...
I colored the image from the stamp set Stand Add-on: Manger with copics and used gold Nuvo drops for the halo. The paper is from Kaiser Craft. The ribbon(Tea) and (Robin Egg) is from Paper Sweeties. And, (Gold) sequins to finish the card.
Here is a view of the inside of the card...
The sentiment is from the same set Stand Add-on: Manger.
