Paper Sweeties Inspiration Challenge-May 2017~








Hi, Friends!

It's time once again for the Paper Sweeties Monthly Challenge!   And, I'm excited to announce that the winner will be awarded a $25 gift certificate to the store!  You can make a project and be inspired by anything in the photo...anything goes! 

This is my second post for today, so please scroll down to see my card made for Dies R Us Challenge!  And, here is my card for Paper Sweeties...



For my card, I was inspired by the lovely flowers in the inspiration photo.  I love the new distress oxide inks, so I got them out and did some water coloring!  The posies were water colored with worn lipstick and cracked pistachio distress oxide inks.  They are from the stamp set Pretty Posies.  The vase, sign and sentiment is from the set Garden Time.  The mason jar was die cut from the set Sweet Cuts-Mason Jar.  The background panel behind the vase was die cut using Sweet Cuts-Window.  A new scalloped circle die will be available on May 15th, which is Sweet Cuts-Circle Scallop Frames.  The posies, vase and sign were die cut using Sweet Cuts-Pretty Posies and Sweet Cuts-Garden Time.  The border was die cut using Sweet Cuts-Sweet Borders.  Ribbon(Cotton Candy) and sequins(Frosting) to finish the card.

    Hi, Maria! Your card is gorgeous! Love the oxide distress ink watercoloring. (I got a couple of colors, but haven't tried anything yet.) The flowers are so pretty and I love the soft teal.
