Dies R Us Challenge June 1, 2020!(It's Dad's Day/Masculine)

Hi, Friends!

Happy June 1st!  And, it's the first challenge of the month for Dies R Us Challenge!  The theme is (It's Dad's Day/Masculine)  We ask that you use at least one die on your project.  Come and join the fun and have a chance to win a gift certificate!  Enjoy creating!

I decided to make a Father's Day card with the silhouette die from Frantic Stamper.  My Dad and two brothers were great fishermen!  I can remember my Dad taking us out on Lake Erie fishing and coming back home for a big fish fry...so yummy!  Even though my Dad is no longer with us making this card brought back many fun memories.

I made a monochromatic card with the blue colors.  The waves were made with a punch.  The clouds were made with a stencil from Pretty Pink Posh.  The white clouds are from Paper Sweeties.  The sentiment is from Mama Elephant.  The heart die is from Lawn Fawn.  And, the checkered frame is from IO.

The inside sentiment is from Mama Elephant, also.

I have another card using the same die cut from Frantic Stamper...

For this card, I used a stamp set from Your Next Stamp.  The waves were stamped and outlined with a white gel pen.  The wave stamp is from Paper Sweeties(Mermaid Wishes).  The scallop frame is from Lawn Fawn.  The clouds were made with acrylic white paint using a cloud stencil from Pretty Pink Posh.  Twine to finish the card for my brother-in-law, Ron.

All dies that were used for my cards with links are listed below.  I hope you create a project using dies and join us for the challenge!

Dies R Us has a sister store with warehouses in the USA and Canada called Didi Crafts

It will ship to both the US and Canada.  Didi Crafts will carry some of the same products as DRU, but most will be different.  Now our Canadian friends don't have to worry about huge taxes or shipping fees. How great is that!?!

My teammates have some fabulous inspiration for you today.  Sit back, relax, and take a look.... (you can click on their name to go to their personal blogs and get more detailed information about each project)
