Hi, there!
I decided to make another card for the Spring+Summer 2020 Coffee Lovers Blog Hop! I saw several cards with a beautiful coffee cup using the Coffee Queen digital image from Garciellie Design! I couldn't resist purchasing the digital image, so pretty!
For my card, I started with a white card base and paired it with tropical leaf paper. The image was colored with copics. The border strips were inked with distress inks using a stencil from TCW(Balzer Designs). The sentiment is from Precious Remembrance, which says...Coffee shared with a friend is happiness & time well spent. An epoxy pink heart and seam binding ribbon from Paper Sweeties to finish the card.
We found another robin nest last week. It is right on top of our evergreen. The eggs are such a lovely blue color. Every time we open our back patio door the mother robin flies away. She stays near and let's us know that she wants to get back on the nest. I recently read that it takes about two weeks for the eggs to hatch. The beauty of nature is such a delight to see!
I have several more cards that I've made, but I will post them at another time. My husband is on vacation this week. We have planted geraniums and hostas around the house. I have a wooden flag that he said he would varnish for me. So, maybe I better scoot and see how he is doing, lol! Take care all! And, thanks so much for dropping by today!

LOVE your card, Maria! The first thing that hit my mind was how beautiful and tropical it felt, and how welcome that is right about now. Hope you are enjoying your little staycation with your husband this week. Nice to get some things done around the house. And how sweet to have those birds eggs right outside. Nature is such an amazing thing to behold.
ReplyDeleteThis is so beautiful! Love the background you used with this beautiful cup.
ReplyDeleteOh that coffee cup is beautiful! I wish we could share a cup together... I can't believe your robins nest photo! Over here they build their nests hidden in trees and shrubs so we never get to see them, only the comings and goings... Mind you it's as well given that we have cats! Enjoy your day
ReplyDeleteSuch a beautiful, vibrant and pretty card and I love the pop of Pink x. Wow to those blue eggs and yes the beauty of nature is magical x.
ReplyDeleteSo very beautiful. Wonderfully colored.
ReplyDeleteThat coffee mug sure is festive and pretty and I love the sentiment that goes with this tropical beauty! What a great photo of that nest with those pretty eggs! Nature is indeed spectacular!
ReplyDeleteThe pink bloom on the teapot is Glorious! And the nest is just Amazing! Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteHope you both had a great vacation week, Maria! I know you'll enjoy your plantings & how incredible to see that nest! Sure hope no "bad birds" get the eggs! Beautiful cup & such a striking card you made with it! Funny--we both used that sentiment & for me it was the first time I inked it!
ReplyDeleteBright and beautiful card. That photo of the robin’s nest of blue eggs is so cool. TFS.
