Feel better soon...

Hi, Friends!

Just popping in quick to share with you a card I made recently for a friend.  The digital image of the pretty bouquet of roses is from Joy Clair Design.  The image was colored with copics.  The background was made using a stencil from Pink Fresh Studio.  The cross stitch panel was made using a die from Tutti Designs and the scalloped border is from MFT.  Dots to finish the card for my friend who is experiencing a tough fight with cancer.  I so wish I could see her in the hospital at this time, but they are allowing only one person.  And, of course, that one person is her husband.  They are good friends of ours and our neighbors, too.  I'm entering this card over at Simon Says.

And, my second card with the same digital image is for my friend, Angie...

This card was cased from Esther Asbury and here is her card...Esther Asbury.  Also, her card can be seen below.  The scalloped panel was made using a die from Mama Elephant.  The rose die cut is from Tim Holtz.  The image was colored with copics.  And, the sentiment and tag is from PTI.

On, a good note our weather has changed for the better, yeah!  The sun is shining and the temps are in the 40's.  It's a tropical heat wave...lol...I wish!  Anyways, you all take good care!  Thanks so much for taking the time to drop by today!

Hugs!!

  1. It's so sad when loved ones have to battle cancer and there are just no words to bring comfort. A beautiful hand-made card like yours shows you care without spoken words! Beautiful coloring on both cards, and what a lovely bouquet of roses! Enjoy this gorgeous weather - I know I am!!

  2. Beautiful coloring of that bouquet stamp, Maria! So sad about your friend. Covid is affecting people with other problems resulting in lack of some services & definitely of in person support. I know she'll appreciate the card & your caring. That die cut background you & Esther used gives such a neat look! Gotta see what I can use for something like that!

  4. These cards blew me away! Your coloring is truly awesome. The shading is so lovely and the colors are beautiful. It is so sad that your friend has to battle without her friends around to support her. She will be lifted up by this card. That background on the second card is stunning, along with the bouquet.
