Happy Valentine's Day...

Hi, there!

Wow!  What a superbowl game last night, huh?  The Patriots came back and fought hard for the win!  Congrats to the Patriots!  It certainly was an exciting game.  And, Lady Gaga did a fabulous job for the halftime show!

I'm back again with more Valentine cards!  I LOVE making them! And, with my favorite color of red!  The cards are using the heart die from Concord & 9th.  Lots of pieces to the die, but so many possibilities.  The sentiment and hearts on the second card is from MFT.  I'm entering these cards over at AAA Cards.

Cats and Dogs...Love!

Hi, there!

I thought I'd post a card quick before the Superbowl starts.  I'm pulling for the underdog...go Falcons!  But, as always, may the best team win!  

Anyways, Valentine's Day will soon be here.  I have a BFF who loves animals!  She has three dogs and two cats.  So I made her a card with adorable Sweeties Pets from Paper Sweeties.  I'm entering this card over at Word Art Wednesday.  And, here is my card...

For my card, I started with a white card base and paired it with Photoplay paper.  The stitched circles are from Lawn Fawn.  The glittery heart was die cut using Paper Sweeties Sweet Cuts-Pretty Posies.  The twine(Strawberry) is from Paper Sweeties.

Paper Sweeties Inspiration Challenge-February 2017!

Hi, Friends!

It's time once again for the Paper Sweeties Monthly Challenge!   And, I'm excited to announce that the winner will be awarded a $25 gift certificate to the store!  You can make a project and be inspired by anything in the photo...anything goes! 

This is my second post for today, so please scroll down to see my card made for Dies R Us Challenge!  And, here is my fun shaker card for Paper Sweeties...

For my card, I was inspired by the gingham heart in the inspiration photo.  What a beautiful Valentine wreath.  I would love to have one like that hanging on my front door!  You can be inspired by anything in the photo, so please do join us!

I started with a red card base and paired it with gingham paper.  The heart is from the stamp set Pretty Posies.  And, the love sentiment is from the set Little Wishes.  I practiced at least two times before I stamped the love sentiment to get the spacing right around the heart.  The heart border was made using Sweet Cuts-Sweet Borders.  For the sequin mix, I used  Strawberry, Marshmallow, and confetti hearts.  Ribbon Frosting and gems to finish the card.

Dies R Us February 1, 2017-Hearts

Hi, friends!

It's time once again for the Dies R Us Challenge!  The theme is Hearts!  One of my favorite colors is red, so I just love making Valentine cards...don't you?!  I hope you have fun joining us by getting out those fun heart dies and making a project!

For my card, I started with a red card base and paired it with paper from Doodlebug and PhotoPlay.  I used several heart dies for my Valentine card and the new Lawn Fawn(Love Letters) stamp set.  All the dies that I used on this card are listed below...
