Happy Birthday!

Good Morning!

First off I want to apologize for my early March planner post that went live yesterday.  It has happened to me at other times.  I already had it scheduled to be on March 1st, but it decided to go live for some reason.  I had to revert back to draft.  Oh well, things happen.  But, thank you to those who commented already on the post, which you will see again on the scheduled date of March 1st.

Well, I do have a birthday card to share with you today.  It's for my friend, Angie.  Her birthday is next month.  The flower die cuts are from Paper Sweeties(Pretty Posies).  The flowers were colored with copics.  I popped up the two front posies with pop dots for dimension.  The stitched circle die cut and label die cut is from MFT.  The sentiment is from Avery Elle.  I sponged the background with distress inks of Broken China, Salty Ocean, and Twisted Citron.  Gems and ribbon to finish the card.  I'm entering this card over at CAS Mix Up.

A peek at the inside of the card...

The sentiment and die cut circle is from MFT, which was used to die cut the panel on the front of the card.  The same pretty posie image from Paper Sweeties.  Thank you for dropping by today!  Have a great day, take care!

Hugs,

Happy Valentine's Day!

Just popping in with a few Valentine cards!  I hope you all are having a great day!  It's a bit rainy here, but I'm grateful that we didn't get the freezing rain that they were calling for today.  I'm entering my first card over at Cupcake Inspirations.

And, first up is this card...

I started with the peacock image from MFT and added a heart to the stomach area.  I water colored the image with zig markers.  The scalloped panel is from Mama Elephant.  Nuvo drops and ribbon to finish the card.

Next up, is my card that I made using the same elements, but made with three different designs.  This one is my favorite of the three.  I used the cardinal again from Newton's Nook.

The sentiment is from MFT.  The paper is from Doodlebug.  Gems and ribbon to finish the card.

My last card...

This card also uses products from MFT.  A very quick and simple card.  Washi glitter tape to finish the card.

Thanks so much for taking the time today to view my cards!  Take care and have a wonderful day!

Hugs!

Paper Sweeties Plan Your Life Series-February 2019!

Paper Sweeties Plan Your Life Series-February!

Hi, Friends!

Happy February 1st!

As you can see above with my planner, it is time to spread some love and kindness with Valentine cards.  Madison is holding her love sign with a note above her to remind her to send cards!  Paper Sweeties has a new planner set this month, which is (Planner Series: All Occasions)!  Coordinating dies, too! (Sweet Cuts-Planner Series: All Occasions).

Here is a peek of the new set...

A wonderful new set with images
for all occasions!

I used the heart, banner, and present from this new set.  Heart banners using MFT papers along with gems for the top of the pages.  The presents are perfect reminders for birthdays.  The heart die was used to die cut hearts placed on February 14th for Valentine's Day! I have two posts today, so please scroll down to see my DRU card, too!

Here is a closer view of the first page...

Madison was colored with copics along with all the images.  Her outfit is from the set Sweetie Pie.  The love sentiment is from the set Hello Spring.  The floating hearts are from the set Sent from my heart.  I just love the sets Planner Series: Business Basics to stamp meeting on days I have meetings.  And, the set Planner Series: Everyday Basics to stamp the time.  Hearts, coffee cup with heart, and xox were placed on my first page, too.

And, now a closer peek at my second page...

A pawprint from the set Planner Series: Appointments was added on this page to remind me of the pancake breakfast for the Humane Society.

I had lots of fun decorating my planner for  February!
I hope you
check out our planner stamps and have fun decorating your
planner, too!

Dies R Us Challenge-February 1, 2019 (Use the color RED!)

Hi, Friends!

It's time for another Dies R Us Challenge!  Happy February 1st!  A month closer to spring...yes!  Also, February brings Valentine projects!

And, I'm here to share with you my card for the Dies R Us Challenge!  The theme is (Use the color RED)!  Come join in on the fun and have a chance to win a gift certificate!  Enjoy creating!

I decided to make valentine cards for my husband and son.  The cute chameleon was fun to color with copics!

And, here is my card for my son...

For my card, I started with a white card base.  The scallop circle die is from  Lawn Fawn.  The chameleon stamp with coordinating dies is from Lawn Fawn, also.  I stamped the middle tree with the small heart for interest.  The sky and grass was made using distress inks of broken china, twisted citron, and mowed lawn.  I love how this card turned out!  I hope my son will like it, too!

Next up using the same stamp set is a card for my husband...

Another view of the card...

I know it's difficult to see, but I have the letters R&M for Randy and Maria on the heart that is placed on the middle tree.  I had tons of fun making these Valentines for my husband and son!  And, I'm looking forward to seeing your Valentine projects!

All dies that were used for my card with links are listed below.  I hope you create a project using dies and join us for the challenge!
