Bless you new nest!

Hi, Friends!

We have a couple from our church, Dick and Laura, who recently moved to another state to be closer to their daughter, so I made them the above card to wish them well.  We will certainly miss the annual dinner with other church couples at their house.  They had a lovely house on the river with a gorgeous view!  We always had a great time visiting with them.  But, they will be closer to their daughter and granddaughter who live in New Jersey.  We wish them well in their new nest!

A view of the inside of the card...

For my card, I started with a white card base and paired it with red and blue gingham paper from Sunny Studio.  All images are from Paper Sweeties and were colored with copics.  The stamp sets/ dies that I used are Home is where your story begins and Treat Box Add-on: Home&Garden.  Twine to finish the card.

Project Supplies:

My heart and prayers go out to those in TX who are experiencing flooding.

Thank you so much for taking the time to drop by today!  Take care!

Hugs,

  7. This is just the cutest new home card, with the little scene you created! I love the hearts coming from the chimney and the little bluebird nest in the tree. It's sad when people have to make the decision to move, but I'm sure these folks will always remember you fondly when they pull this card out through the years :)
