Paper Sweeties August 15, 2019-Release Party!






Welcome to Paper Sweeties Release Party!  Today is the day to purchase the two new stamp/die sets, Cupcakes and Sprinkles and Best Ever!

Today, I am highlighting both of the new sets!  Another yummy cupcake, but in yellow and orange.





For my card, I started with a yellow card base and paired it with orange.  The next panel was make using BoBunny paper.  The background behind the cupcake was made using distress inks of mustard seed, spiced marmalade, and abandoned coral on photo paper using the "smoosh" technique.  I just love the color and shine with the pretty colors!  The scallop frame was die cut using the set Sweet Cuts-Oval Scallop Frames.  The ribbon and sequins for the finishing touch are from Paper Sweeties, also.

The sentiment is from the set Basket Add on: Thinking of you.  And, the scalloped border at the top of the card was die cut using the set Sweet Cuts-Sweet Borders.

Dies R Us Challenge August 15,2019! (Sports)




Hi, Friends!

Welcome to the Dies R Us Challenge once again for August!  The theme is Sports!

I'm getting quite a collection of Sue Wilson dies...love them!  The sport dies I used today have a wonderful sentiment and several sport dies such as soccer, tennis, football, and golf...so fun!  I have a great niece who plays soccer, so this card will go to her for her birthday.






For my card, I started with a white card base and paired it with green.  I added two panels using Doodlebug paper.  I used the mesh die behind the soccer field.  The ball was die cut and colored with black.  The grass die is from Frantic Stamper.  Twine to finish the card.


 All dies that were used for my card with links are listed below.  I hope you create a project using dies and join us for the challenge!

Paper Sweeties August 14, 2019-Release Sneak Peeks!



Hi, friends!

Welcome to Paper Sweeties August Release Sneak Peeks!

Debbie is releasing two new stamp/die sets this month called Cupcakes and Sprinkles and Best Ever!  Today, I am highlighting the Cupcakes and Sprinkles set.  This month Paper Sweeties is celebrating their 7th Anniversary!  Wow!  The years have flown by!  I have been with Paper Sweeties since for nearly 6 1/2 years.  I have enjoyed every year and the amazing creative sweet stamp sets that Debbie creates!




For my card, I started with a white card base and paired it with Doodlebug paper.  Who doesn't love cupcakes and sprinkles?!  A yummy cupcake with the number seven to celebrate Paper Sweeties!  The sentiments, cupcakes, and flowers are from the new set.  The number seven is from the set Days Until.  The shaker elements are sequins from Paper Sweeties, which are, Bubblegum, Cookie Dough, and Robin Egg.  Glass beads of white and blue were added, also.  Ribbon(Robin Egg) tied with pink pearl cotton for interest.  The square frame from the set Sweet Cuts-Square Scallop Frames was die cut for the shaker.  Several sequins placed at the top and bottom of the card for the final touch.

Paper Sweeties/Coffee Loving Cardmakers Joint Design Team Blog Hop!





Hi, friends!

Paper Sweeties is hopping today with Coffee Loving Cardmakers in celebration of Paper Sweeties 7th Anniversary!  Lots of celebrating this month for the special occasion!  Several sales are going on this month, too.  A huge gift prize and another hop towards the end of the month with Pink&Main.  Stay tuned for all the upcoming festivities...so fun!!






For my card, I started with a green card base.  Madison is enjoying a cup of coffee and enjoying living on island time!  Her outfit is from the set At the Beach.  The scalloped frame was made using the Sweet Cuts-Rectangle Scallop Frames.  The sky was made using Broken China distress ink. The coffee cup and coffee pot are from the set Planner Series: Coffee.  The starfish is from the set Mermaid Wishes.  The palm tree, sun, and sentiment is from the set Island Time.  A gold sequin was added to finish my beach/coffee themed card.
