Hi, Friends!
It's a new month and time for another Dies R Us Challenge! The theme is Anything Goes! But, we ask that you use dies carried at the DRU Store. Come and join in the fun and have a chance to win a gift certificate! Enjoy creating!
I decided to make a Halloween card with a spooky scene. I colored the pup in the pumpkin to match the coloring of my dog, Sheila. Unlike the pup on the card my Sheila wouldn't leave the cape and hat on long enough to go trick-or-treating!:-) But, I think the pup in the pumpkin looks so cute in the outfit!
For my card, I started with a white card base. I used the "smoosh technique" for the sky. The distress inks that I used were wilted violet, seedless preserves, salty ocean, and hickory smoke. Zig zag rectangle dies from Lawn Fawn were used to die cut the panels. The pup is from Sunny Studio. But, the outfit, pumpkin, bones, and moon are from Lawn Fawn. The Woodland Branch die from Memory Box was used to make the trees. The crow, cat, and bats are from Taylored Expressions. Wink of Stella was used to put a shine on all the images and trees. Twine to finish the card.
Another view of my card...
A view of the inside of the card...
I decided to make a second card for another sis...
All dies that were used for my card with links are listed below. I hope you create a project using dies and join us for the challenge!
