Paper Sweeties October 2020-Release Sneak Peeks!

Today I'm sharing my cards for the October Release Sneak Peeks!  The new sets are Home and Home Add-on:  Welcome, which are part of a Sweet Kit!  The stamp sets are perfect for fall, winter, and even Valentine's Day!  First up, is my fall card ...

The card was made using distress inks of mustard seed and spiced marmalade. The home sentiment, sunflowers, and pumpkin are from the new set Home.  The frame is from the set Sweet Cuts-Oval Scallop Frames.  Creamsicle ribbon was added and tied with gold string for interest.  A gold heart dot and gold Nuvo Drops to finish the card.

The inside sentiment is from the set Happy Fall Y'all.

Next up, I have a Christmas slimline card...

For my Christmas card, the background was made using distress inks of broken china, salty ocean, cracked pistachio, and wilted violet.  The snowflakes and the large sentiment is from the Home set.  The small sentiment is from the set Home Add-on:  Welcome.  The trees are from the set Merry Christmas Y'all.  The house and hearts are from the set Somewhere over the Rainbow.  Sweet Cuts-Sweet Borders was used for the scallops around the sentiments.  Sweet cuts-Circle Scallop Frames was die cut and placed behind the house.  The images were colored with copics.  A sugar sprinkle sequin was added to the center of the snowflake on the home sentiment.

The sentiments for the inside of the card is from the set Homemade with Love.  I loved making these seasonal cards with the large home sentiment!  It's a versatile set were several different images can be placed for the "O", so fun!

  1. The home card makes me think of home for the holidays and is so pretty. Your slim card is proof we should all be home for the holidays in that beautiful red house with snow softly falling. I love those hearts coming out of the chimney. I hope we can all be at home together over the coming holidays.
