Hi, there!

I decided to make another card for the Spring+Summer 2020 Coffee Lovers Blog Hop!  I saw several cards with a beautiful coffee cup using the Coffee Queen digital image from Garciellie Design!  I couldn't resist purchasing the digital image, so pretty!

For my card, I started with a white card base and paired it with tropical leaf paper.  The image was colored with copics.  The border strips were inked with distress inks using a stencil from TCW(Balzer Designs).  The sentiment is from Precious Remembrance, which says...Coffee shared with a friend is happiness & time well spent.  An epoxy pink heart and seam binding ribbon from Paper Sweeties to finish the card.   


We found another robin nest last week.  It is right on top of our evergreen.  The eggs are such a lovely blue color.  Every time we open our back patio door the mother robin flies away.  She stays near and let's us know that she wants to get back on the nest.  I recently read that it takes about two weeks for the eggs to hatch.  The beauty of nature is such a delight to see!

I have several more cards that I've made, but I will post them at another time.  My husband is on vacation this week.  We have planted geraniums and hostas around the house.  I have a wooden flag that he said he would varnish for me.  So, maybe I better scoot and see how he is doing, lol!  Take care all!  And, thanks so much for dropping by today!

It's time for the Spring+Summer 2020 Coffee Lovers Blog Hop!  You can use coffee, tea, and/or cocoa images for your project!  The hop starts May 22nd and runs until May 29th.  Paper Sweeties has several wonderful coffee/tea/cocoa stamp sets available!  I used one of my favorites....Life begins after coffee .  We hope you join the hop!  Lots of prizes up for grabs from many wonderful sponsors!



For my card, I started with a white card base and used distress inks of Broken China and Salty Ocean for the sky and water.  I used Vintage Photo distress ink for the sand.  All images are from Paper Sweeties and were colored with copics.  Jake just finished surfing the fun waves.  He is now cooling off with a refreshing coffee drink!  Jake's swim trunks, surf board, and sentiment is from the set Surf's Up.  The shells and star fish are from the set Mermaid Wishes.  The palm trees are from the set Island Time.  Wink of Stella was added for interest to the images.  And, twine to finish the card.
The inside sentiment, which is from the same set as the coffee drink on the front of the card.  It says...Life Begins after Coffee!  Oh, to be on a beach somewhere enjoying a cold coffee drink...sigh.

Today is day 3 to highlight the Paper Sweetie dolls and their outfits!  And, today I am featuring Abigail, Jake, and Emma!  They are peeking out their window wishing that they could give hugs to all their friends!  Sending virtual hugs to all of you, my friends!  I hope you are doing well!




For my card, I started with a white card base and stamped hugs onto the background using the stamp set Thanks.  I sprayed on Gold Perfect Pearls Mists for interest.  The Abigail, Jake, and Emma images were colored with copics.  The window was made using Sweet Cuts-Square Scallop Frames.  Twine and sequins (Bubblegum) to finish the card.

Today is day two to feature the Paper Sweetie dolls and outfits.  And, for my card today I am highlighting Abigail.



For my card, I started with a red card base and paired it with paper from Creative Imaginations. I added stitching to combine the top panels for interest.  Abigail's outfit is from the set Sweetie Pie.  The birds and the fence are from the set Home Tweet Home,  The cherries are from the set  Homegrown.  All images were colored with copics.  The sentiments on the cherries are from  Little Wishes...saying hello friend.   The ribbon is also from Paper Sweeties(Green Apple)



The inside sentiment is from the set Sweetie Pie, also.

Dies R Us Challenge-May 15, 2020!(Graduation/Congratulations)




Hi, there!

It's the second challenge of the month for Dies R Us Challenge!  The theme is (Graduation/Congratulations).  We ask that you use at least one die on your project.  There are at least three in the family who are graduating this year, but we are not sure on the celebration get-togethers due to the coronavirus.  I do have one card done to mail to celebrate the graduate!  Come and join in the fun for the challenge!  You have a chance to win a gift certificate!  Enjoy creating!



For my shaker card, I started with a white card base.   The zig zag panel was die cut using a die from Lawn Fawn.  The next die that I used is from Frantic Stamper.  The shaker mix are sequins from Paper Sweeties(Strawberry).  And, the other sequins and stars are from SU.  Twine to finish the card.

All dies that were used for my card with links are listed below.  I hope you create a project using dies and join us for the challenge!
